This was my third time staying here, and it is a nice quiet place with woods behind it. The rooms are cute and better then a sterile hotel room. I would stay here again.

Great place to stay for under $100 buck. Hotel is clean and well ran. It is an older property, but management has done a good job with maintenance and upkeep.

Credit card was charged first thing in the morning of arrival. I was told it's because of no shows & bad credit cards. No one is at reception, you have to push a buzzer & wait for someone to show up. Floor in room was very dirty, I walked in white socks briefly & they were filthy on the bottom. Was told fireplace couldn't be used, a/c & heat was so loud it couldn't be used either at night. No insulation from outside noise. I cannot recommend this property.

There werent any bedbugs but unfortunately there were alcohol bottles and used napkins behind the headboard. The sheets were also dirty. They did come quickly and fix all these problems but they did try to convince me that the sheets werent dirty. I understand that sheets may have hair once in a while but it was throughout the bed like it hadn't been changed. Everyone was pretty nice though and they did fix it up like i said. The rest of the stay wasnt bad.

Uncommon comfort, excellent service

This was at least the third time I've stayed at this hotel, which is located about a half hour west of downtown Detroit. My room was exceptional for several reasons. The brick wall construction effectively minimized intrusive noise. The gas fireplace starts at the flip of a switch, was a welcome amenity on a cold day. The bathroom is thoroughly modern with granite vanity and trim and the biggest & softest towels anywhere. The gentleman who checked me in was courteous and totally professional. I would gladly stay here again in the future.
