Detroit is full of beautiful old buildings and this is a great one, run by the same woman who worked on its renovation. I stayed in the Dahlia room, which has a jacuzzi and lovely fireplace. The bed was extremely comfortable. Morning coffee is served in a gorgeous parlor and solarium, and the proprietors are very attentive and helpful.

Had a wonderful stay at the Frederick Stearns House Historic Inn. The owner was there most of the time to answer any questions and provided some great information on the history of the Inn and surrounding area. She also prepared very delicious breakfasts. The room was large and comfortable and there are many interesting decorations throughout the Inn.
