Discovery Point

The house location is great, boat access to the Delta doesn't get much better. The grandkids had a blast fishing swimming and just hanging out outside.

Wow what a great set up!

This house was very clean, great property with everything you need. The boat dock was so nice to tie up to and be about the closest house to "fast" water. The only thing that threw us off a little, was that the 4 twin beds are just floor mats, but the kids were fine. Over all a great stay and great location and we will be back!

A beautiful place for all ages to lay or play in the sun.

Finding a place that pleases everyone in our family isn't easy. We're a diverse group, ages 10 to 63, with very different ideas of what a great "get-away" looks like. But we found it here. The home and property are well layed out providing private space for anyone wanting to be off on their own AND group spaces that easily accommodated our family of 10. The yard is creatively planned. There is a grassy area - perfect for lawn games and bare feet. There are multiple deck levels around the pool and BBQ that offer seating and sun bathing. There is a stunning walkway to the dock, lined with palm trees and flowering plants that absolutely makes you feel like you're in Hawaii. The best thing about the layout of the grounds is that each area gives the feeling of privacy while still being visible from the house with just a few steps right or left. So the teens & the 10yo felt like they were on their own, away from "the old people", while I was able to easily check on them, from the house, without intruding! The property manager was accommodating and flexible. She was quick to reply to each of my texts and easily answered any questions I had. You would have to look far & wide to find a better view of the sunrise and sunset then the one you'll see here looking across the pooI out onto the delta. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to relax & unwind OR swim, fish & go boating!

Great Spot for a family

We enjoyed our stay at Paradise Point. The communication was great with the owner and property manager, the house was clean and in a great location. If you are into water sports, there is plenty to do. The kids enjoyed catching blue gill and crappie from the dock. We had a great time and would definitely return. Just some observations we had, but they were in no way a deal breaker: The beach across the way is a fun spot, but popular and at times could be a little loud. Even though the property and private dock are in the slow water, wake from the fast creates moderate waves at times. Specific to our visit and no fault of the owners, the house next door is being remodeled. Work begins at 7am and could be a little loud, but hopefully this is completed by the time you visit. Would definitely return and recommend to friends.

Paradise Point Delivered

We brought our family of 5 and my parents to stay at Paradise Point for 4 nights and had an absolute blast. Eric was incredibly communicative through the check-in process and had a property manager available for any questions/needs. This property has the perfect location location - very close to fast water and a beach right across the water way. I would stay here again and highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys the delta living experience!

Amazing property with pool, close to fast water

This is our second time staying at this property and it really does feel like paradise. The house is very comfortable and has a well stocked kitchen to make meal preps easy. The backyard is so beautiful with many palm trees that offered much needed shade. The pool and hot tub were well maintained and so much fun for the kids and adults. We used the 2 kayaks and played cornhole on the lawn every day. The location, being so close to fast water, made it so easy to go out on our boat and back to the house for lunch. Eric and Alina are both great communicators and welcoming. We will definitely rent this property again soon.

Amazing property

We had an amazing time! I think you may have the best lot on the delta! The yard is absolutely stunning and the house was so well set up. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the views and the water. Thank you for renting to us. We hope to return again.

Great location with great character

Eric and Alina (property manager) were great hosts. I am not a review person, however felt the need on this one. Great 3BR,2BA home. Super close to fast water, I could literally throw a baseball from the dock and hit fast water. We have stayed in many homes, and I have to say this one has the most character. If I have one complaint, and it’s really not that big of a deal, I wish there would have been at least one or two bunk beds in one or two of the rooms, so guests that are not coupled up can sleep more comfortably. They do have fold up twin pads to put on floor though. Can’t wait for next year to rent it again

Amazing property

This house was amazing from the start to finish. Great location for boating and everything about it was perfect. The response time from the owner and the property assistant was great. A perfect combination of fun and relaxation on the water

The house and grounds are lovely - quiet and breezy in the mornings with a view of egrets and other waterbirds in the reeds, and great for people-watching on the fast water later in the day. There is a lot of space for resting/visiting inside, and the pool and hot tub and comfortable sun chairs outside are great for fun (especially kids - there is a collection of pool float toys that our smaller family members very much appreciated). Beds are super comfortable, and the kitchen has a good selection of cooking utensils / bowls / tupperware for use. I can't say enough good things about this property.

Amazing House

Thank you so much for letting us stay at your amazing property Eric. We felt like we were on a tropical island vacation. It was really clean and the house was stocked with everything you could ever need. The pool and hot tub were so nice. The grass area was great for corn hole and the dock was great for fishing. Great family vacation!

We had a wonderful time at this property. Property owner/staff were super attentive and friendly. Everything you could ask for in the kitchen. Pool was amazing… we used it the entire time. Plenty of lounge chairs and space to lay out! Location of property couldn’t be better! Definitely recommend staying here and I hope to do so again!

Nicest property in Discovery Bay

I have rented VRBOs every year for the last 8 years to bring my family together for a reunion. Every local I ran into told me that we were in the nicest property in Discovery Bay. For this review, I asked each member of my family what their thoughts were about this place: Me: Having morning coffee as the sun came up over the water..... and a beer at night while sitting out front on the dock Wife: Overall Cleanliness and family-friendly layout both indoors and outdoors Teen 1: We were right on the main waterway and the island out front was cool meeting people Teen 2: It's where locals come to go fishing - something about this particular area attracts fish - all the different species of critters that live there - Exotic looking birds - river otters and many more. Uncle Frank: The jacuzzi! It was awesome while people-watching - when the tide goes out, an island becomes exposed right out front and many boats stop there while the people have all kinds of activities. Newborn: she can't talk yet but had nothing but smiles! Cousin Will: The openness of it all - everything! Lastly, friends that stopped by liked all the parking spots. Voted by all #1 to return next summer!!

This property was worth it. Enough space for our group, fast water close by, and private boat dock. Kitchen had everything we needed. Fishing was good too!
