We did not eat or drink in the restaurant/bar. Although this was an old hotel, the owners made every effort to keep most of it original. When renting two queen beds they were actually two room that joined with a door. The sinks and toilets were updated and much better than the Super 8s. The lobby was beautiful and the keyless, no staff entry was excellent. Would stay here again,
We just did a one night flyover and it was clean and comfortable. Very nice and communicative staff, and dog friendly with was a must for us. Stairs are squeaky but adds to the charm of this 1913 hotel. Enjoyed it.
Check the room and found it to suit my needs. But my big concern was that the building was not sprinklered for fire that I saw and that made find another place to stay. Multi story old building without sprinklers made me think twice about staying.
The place is pretty dated, but charming. The room was very small for the price but it was clean. The hotel is in a good location and downtown is within walking distance.
Historic building in downtown Douglas, a cute, sleepy little town. Nice bar on the 1st floor, and a good Mexican restaurant attached to the hotel. We slept well.
The front desk is not staffed but they send you a text to get into your room. The bar staff was happy to help with any issues. It is such a cool place and it would be perfect for a girls trip...just to get away and relax.
