Nice little old fashioned motel, staff was nice, rooms are small, big tv, patio is a bonus, my room had a sulfur smell coming from the bathroom that was strong, there was a few loud tenants that kept me up. Also, the headboard was double sided tape stuck onto the wall and it came off while I was attempting to go to sleep and scared the stuff out of me. Itâs good if you want a basic hotel.
Parking was very close to the room and I could see my car in the parking lot from my first floor window. I had a patio that I, unfortunately, had no time to enjoy. Blackout curtains, no noise. TV, in room climate control that was quiet as well. Plenty of hot water in a very clean bathroom. I was lucky enough to meet the owners and two daughters. Wonderful people who took very good care of the Motel and guests. Thank you for a delightful stay.
Decent for a quick overnight trip. I was in town for wedding business so I just needed a place to crash. Clean, but a little noisy with sound carrying from office area and hallways. But overall decent.
Good budget hotel, but something bit me on my back while I was there. Can't substantiate where it came from 100% though. Just know they appeared the morning after I slept there on my lower back, about 8 of them. Hotel might just want go through their bedding with a fine tooth comb and make sure nothing is brooding, bug-wise, b/c it could get worse and dealing with it early might help if there is an issue. Otherwise, 4 stars.đ
The lady at check-in wasn't very friendly or helpful to my hearing impaired husband. The floor in our room was dusty & dirty on my bare feet. Nice shower. Otherwise a bare bones small room. Private porch/balcony" needs furniture to sit & enjoy coffee.
We got into town earlier and was very happy when we were able to check-in early. The manager was out but left a contact number and after speaking with her we got our key and signed papers afterwards. Very nice, polite and professional staff. Will definitely visit when in area.
The stay was good. The office staff was polite and accommodating considering I had to check in late. The rooms are dated but very clean and the beds are comfortable. It was very typical of a hill country air bnb experience. My only concern is that I woke up cold and looked over to see the curtains slightly blowing. It turns out the window had been open the entire time with just the screen there. If it were anywhere other than Dripping Springs I would have been more alarmed. But other than that it was good for the price.
