This is a great hotel in a good location. The staff was friendly and professional! The pool is nice, and children enjoyed themselves. Breakfast was wonderful with many food options.

I wouldn't recommend to family or friends. I found the hotel to be nice-looking, well-kept, and clean, but there was: 1. no *cold* water in my room (so I couldn't shower/bathe, as the water was too hot, unless I ran a bath and let it sit for a few hours -- upon reporting to multiple hotel staff multiple times no-one seemed that surprised or able/willing to 1) move my room 2) otherwise address the problem?), 2. no AC (which may be fine, most of the time, but it was very hot while we were there), 3. not strong enough internet for me do to work calls 4. not a lot of help coordinating a late checkout/early check-in, to plan for someone landing early from the airport 5. definitely no frills like a mini-fridge/robes/etc, which was again fine, but given the price, seemed a little surprising, and generally the bare minimum (eg just two bath towels for a 3-person booking in a 3-perosn room) On the whole, it was just really odd - most of this stuff wouldn't bug me too much (other than not being able to shower) but at this price point, you'd expect... to be able to shower? Or someone to care if you couldn't? Or am I just too American for assuming this is a given?

Reception area under construction. Staff were friendly and offered timely assistance. Room was fine but toilet presented significant challenging when flushing even a small amount of toilet paper. Hotel was clean and location afforded easy access to many attractions.

I wasn’t gone on the stay very overpriced for 1 night stay no room in the room plus waited ages for meal in bar no space plus my meal was still frozen the burger bun no dressing asked for some didn’t get it . The pool was packed with kids swimming lessons

The Clayton Hotel was nice and clean. I didn't realize there was no AC in the rooms prior to booking, but they left a fan in the room and windows were able to be opened. It was nice having the breeze in the room while sleeping.

Arrived at hotel to drop bags off as we were going to a match, check in not till four but room was ready at 12. There was a lovely gift of chocolates and a card for my son as was his communion. Have to say great breakfast and hotel reception staff are amazing

Need to stay overnight to catch a flight in the morning. Good location in the quiet part of the town, easy walk to the DublinExpress bus. The hotel is bright and clean, everything is working order, easy check in check out.

Overall our stay was very disappointing due to several service issues. I made a complaint for a partial refund through the platform, which the hotel showed no interest in resolving. Nearly all Sky TV channels were locked due to a widespread parental control issue, and despite requests for this to be resolved during our stay (we eventually gave up calling reception as the phone is always engaged or off the hook), no one followed up to resolve it as was promised. Additionally, the pool was effectively inaccessible to adult guests during peak hours on Saturday evening due to children’s swimming lessons taking up all lanes, with unhelpful responses from staff. It was also a similar situation with the gym which is clearly frequented mainly by external visitors who pay to access it. If you’re hoping for a few luxuries as we were, don’t count on them being available.
