The breakfast buffet food was not properly warm; new foods were merely poured over the old remaining food, which is not proper hygiene practice. Also the buffet selections did not change at all, daily. On day two there was only one juice selection. The cooked ham was tough as leather.

Overall I really enjoyed my hotel room, I'd booked the "King bed", which was super comfortable, and I adored the little sectional couch in the corner. The room was large and it was stocked, and I loved the decor. However, the doors to the hotel were locked upon arriving, so we had to wait a few minutes to be buzzed in with our luggage. The front staff seemed annoyed with us checking in, and out to be honest. I was waiting to leave after our 2nd night and the lady was asking to take a break before taking my room key, and I was the only person standing there. My only complaint about the room was that my toilet was clearly not bolted down properly at all, and I was afraid it would actually leak it was so wobbly. But otherwise the location is close to the canal, and we were told it was a little less safe to walk in the evenings on that side, but we did feel pretty safe, and didn't stay out too late on that advice.

Not enough staff at breakfast time, had to stand for ages to get a knife to butter my then freezing cold toast. No glasses to get water/juice with. Had to keep asking for stuff.

Staff were excellent and very helpful. The view from the hotel room was lovely. The pillows weren't my cup of tea but the bed was comfy otherwise. We got to breakfast on the first morning at the busy period, so it was utter chaos. Might be better if they seated people instead of saying go wherever. But the breakfast itself was spot on with lots options.

The rooms are tiny, not meant for more than 2 people. Despite that they booked us a room for three. I had to climb over one bed to get to bathroom. Front entrance to hotel and lobby bathrooms always locked requiring hotel key. Felt like a youth hostel. Parking was a 10 min walk from hotel.

We had a great experience at the hotel, but the cleaning took place far too late in the day. There were multiple days when we didn't return to the hotel until 4pm- after being gone ALL day- and yet the room had not been cleaned. We had to sit in the lobby one day and the next day it happened, I simply left the 'do not disturb' message on the door because I didn't want to deal with it again. That has to change as they should at least be completed by check in time. Other than this, it was a great hotel, location and staff.
