The last time I was in Dubrovnik, I stayed at the Hilton which is more centrally located. The Rixos was a much better place to stay. The rooms are bigger with better amenities. The views are incredible. It is only a 20-30 walk along the sea to the Old Town. The food was excellent. A totally enjoyable experience.

For a luxury hotel, there were a lot of issues. We had the towel rack come off the wall, our shower didn’t drain properly so kept flooding the toilet area, the area leading to the indoor pool was a construction zones etc. On the positive side, the location is beautiful, the staff are helpful, and the room was very comfortable.
