Great stay!

This was our second year staying here, and we got the same room. We were very happy about that, it had beautiful views of the lake and was right by everything we needed. The only downside was that whoever was above us (or whatever was above us) was constantly making noise. If we hadn’t been using a sound machine for our kids, I would have really struggled to ignore it. We love the location of this hotel, we were able to walk around to eat and shop. The kids brought their scooters and had a blast riding along the lake walk. Definitely recommend!!!

Perfect for families!

Our family had a quick overnight, but during that short time we enjoyed every part of this hotel. The room was comfortable, the pool was a big hit that the continental breakfast was exactly what we needed to start our day!

Wonderful clean hotel

We had a great stay. The staff were all so accommodating and friendly! The rooms were small but clean, and all common areas were kept uo and clean. The only comolaint I have is the pool and hot tub were SO strongly over-chlorinated. Our whole family was coughing like crazy being in the pool area. By the 3rd day it was a little better. The hotel was accessible to many restaurants and has a gorgeous view of Lake Superior. We will absolutely be returning!

Very Nice Stay

Very nice hotel - clean rooms, good breakfast and great views. Staff is friendly and helpful. We utilized the pool, hot tub, and exercise room. Nice sized fridge in the room along with a microwave and Nespresso machine - and space for everything. Within walking distance of the canal, Grandma's and the many shops along Canal St and Lake Ave.

The room was comfortable and clean but a little small. We did have a room with two queen beds and a double pull-out sofa which we ended up using also so the room was hard to maneuver with the pul-out extended. The bathroom was nice and clean. They allowed us to extend our stay until 12:00 which was very helpful for us for that last morning. The view of Lake Superior from our room window and the breakfast area was amazing.

When we checked out in the morning we found out that our car and atleast two others had been broken into and rifled. Our car was parked directly in front of the main doors. They told us a police officer would review the CCTV and see if anything could be seen. We have not heard from the hotel nor the police. It is very disappointing that the hotel has made no attempt to contact us and update us on this situation. The feeling I got was that they felt like “oh well, too bad.”
