We booked a hotel, few minutes away, which ended up being terrible and we needed an emergency last minute hotel. The Hampton Inn had a room available, thankfully! Choosing to stay, at the Hampton Inn, was the best choice we made! Great service, breakfast, amenities and overall excellent! Definitely will be booking our stay, at Hampton Inn, whenever we visit Duluth!

Decent…

I paid extra for my family of 5 to stay in the room. (To be expected) however, they only had (4) towels and no extra pillows or blankets to go with the pull out bed on the couch to accommodate my family size. They had one extremely small garbage can for the entire room. The tv was placed in such a weird spot you couldn’t easily watch it from any seating area provided. The breakfast included was really soggy and didn’t have much flavor. The upside…the bed was comfy and the employees were friendly. It provided a roof for my family for our weekend of exploring. However, paying nearly $1000 for 2 nights on a non holiday weekend……I guess I would’ve expected a little bit better.

Loved the property. Our family stayed there for our son's graduation. The place was nice, updated, clean and the rooms were so spacious. Walking distance from several restaurants. Texas Roadhouse was literally across the parking lot. The staff at check-in was super efficient and friendly.

Clean and comfortable stay.

The room and common areas were very clean. The housekeeping staff were friendly and attentive. Our room was one of the cleanest I’ve stayed in. The breakfast was well stocked and convenient.

My experience was not pleasant. Reading the reviews of others, this was an anomaly. It started with the check in process. My reservation took multiple attempts (on the computer to find). When I finally got to my room I had to use the bathroom. While doing so, a gentleman (maintenance man) began to enter my room. Gratefully I was able to stop him before he entered all the way. I was angry and embarrassed and immediately went to the front desk. In retrospect, I should have handled it differently, but, I was stunned this could happen. I eventually spoke to the manager. He was impatient, condescending, and unprofessional. We were in town for a baseball game, and I was late, so I did not stick around. Yes, eventually, in a text, I was asked to stop by the desk when I returned. I was done with it and did not stop. Having said all of this, it is a beautiful hotel close to shopping and restaurants.
