If you're traveling from the US and take an overnight flight, be aware that there is a late check-in - 4pm - for this property. If you arrive in the morning, you'll need to find something to do or another place to stay until then . . .That being said, this is a spacious vintage home filled with eclectic decor and fun artwork in close proximity to Dunkeld, a fun little town with a pub, fish n' chips, a drugstore and small supermarket, and a few clothing and art/craft shops. The house has a well-stocked kitchen, two large bathrooms upstairs (but also a musty powder room on the main floor), and four large bedrooms, all with antique oak and other wood furniture and ample storage for your clothes. There are two large sitting rooms, one with a piano (unfortunately, out of tune when we arrived) and a guitar. The enclosed garden in back has places to sit and relax, and also a picnic table, and the landscaping is lovely. Everything was clean, and lots of towels were provided. The house is on a road, but we never heard traffic, only birdsong. Something to take into consideration: there is a steep, winding staircase that I had to carefully navigate (I'm an older person with balance problems).
