Woke up to bugs crawling on the night stand and in the bathroom. Parking lot not salted. Making it one big sheet of ice. We immediately checked out after the bug discovery. Showed a picture to the front desk staff and they didnt really seem to care.

The property was fine, but I feel like I got gouged on the price. I had to stay there for two days unexpectedly on Friday the 29th and Saturday the 30th because of the lake effect snow emergency. I booked my room on Friday afternoon before the emergency was declared, and I booked the room for Saturday during the emergency, just 15 hours later, and the price had doubled. Both nights were weekend nights, so I fail to see why the price would have doubled if not for the fact that they were taking advantage of stranded guests. If someone from the hotel doesn't reach out to me I'll be contacting the AG's office, as the local news had requested that all such incidents be reported.

the room was smelly, the bed lumpy, the floor uneven under the carpet. I booked for two nights through expedia but left after one night and moved to the excellent Clarion Inn. I lost one night's rate which I'm not happy about.

The property needs updating. The carpet is worn and looks dirty. The door was not real tight to close. Although the bathtub was clean, it was stained. It is sad that this is one of the better hotels in the area.
