Are you looking for a relaxing atmosphere for that weekend getaway or monthly winter vacation? Want to enjoy the Florida outdoors in your own private tropical oasis? this comfortable home is a great place to do just that. It's a great place to relax, unwind, and getaway from" life in the fast lane". Outdoor activities are the focus of the area. Hiking, biking, walking, kayaking, tubing, boating, fishing, swimming, its all here. Begin your day sitting on the deck or beside the pool enjoying your morning coffee.
The Pool can be heated for $15 a night, $75 for the week and $125 for the month. The temperature is set at 83 degrees. It could go higher with lots of sun and use of the solar blanket. January we have some pretty cold days so I cannot heat unless a 2 week notice is given to guarantee heat to 83 degrees when you arrive. If the temperature stays below freezing for an extended time the pool cannot be heated. It is an electric heater. The pool cover will need to be rolled out at night and rolled up if swimming during the day.
We are located within the Rio Vista Community of Dunnellon. KP Hole and Rainbow River State Pare are close by. We are located within minutes of restaurants and shopping.
After a day of outside activities come sit poolside with your own outside bar area (BYOB), beverage cooler, TV, deck with a gas grill, and table for 6 for outside dining. Take a night swim in the pool using the beach entry.
There is a community park just a few minutes walk or rent the golf cart and drive it down with our kayaks or canoe to the boat ramp on the Rainbow River.
The house is decorated with a coastal cottage feel from the coffee bar to the picket fence headboard in the master bedroom. The living room furniture is very comfortable with and oversized recliner and U-shaped sectional. The front of the house has a glassed sunroom for added seating for your relaxation.
Both bedrooms have queen size beds and the sun room has a queen futon with its own air conditioner and heater. Master bathrooms has a tub/shower combo and guest bath has walk in shower.
We have xfinity Wi-Fi and smart TV. Netflix and fubo tv provided. We also have games, movies, and books for your entertainment.
Ocala and Crystal River are only 30 minutes away.
Come enjoy all Dunnellon and the area has to offer.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:

Strip any used beds and gather used towels

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys

Make sure you put air conditioner on 78 when leaving and heat on 68 in the winter.

Put all outside pool toys back in bin when leaving. Clean grill if used.

Take trash cans to road if leaving on a Monday or Tuesday morning and have all trash bagged

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Rules

Must unlatch gate for pool maintenance before 9:00 if there on Tuesday. No loud music or noise after 9 and cut off pool lights when going in at night

Take garbage to road on Tuesday morning or Monday if leaving. Put all garbage in bags.

Guest must send written confirmation of overnight guest count and daytime visitor count within 24 hours of booking request

We enjoyed our quick getaway-the backyard was a private peaceful retreat. Was able to get work done while the kids played in the pool. We enjoyed the easy access to the river to launch our kayaks and paddleboards during the day and gathering around the fire pit at night. Thank you for opening your home to us!

What a PERFECT place! This home has everything you could possibly need, and more. We didn't even use the kayaks and the golf cart! The pool is lovely and this home is decorated so beautifully, we are ready to turn around and come right back. But real life calls and we must heed. Soon though, we will book again! We had a wonderful time for our one-year anniversary and Michael's 71st birthday. Thank you, great host!

Entry to the house kind of surprised us..guess we expected it to be a bit more welcoming (wood fencing to the front door falling on the side & needs to be properly installed) but it's a beach/river house! The inside was quite comfortable and the decks and pool were remarkable...besides spending time on the Rainbow River and at the Park, we spent a good part of our time on the decks and pool which is completely fenced in & great if you have dogs like we did...the golf cart was a must to get the kayaks & canoe to the river...GREAT LOCATION WITH PRIVATE ACCESS TO THE RIVER A BIG PLUS! MY FAMILY TOTALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY!!! HOPING TO BE BACK!!!

This place is great and my family stays here a few times each year. Its location is very convenient with the private park and water access. The master bed is very comfortable and the back porch and pool area are fabulous!! There are plenty of kayaks, floats, and pool toys provided along with everthing else you should need. I Highly recommend this house for adults and fa.ilies, theres something for everyone!

This was our 2nd visit to this house. So thought everything would be fine and on the surface everything looked okay at a glance. But if you look close there are stains on the baseboards, walls, ceilings. The bottoms of the kitchen table and chairs were caked in grime. The sheets had hairs on them and the pillows were yellow with years of sweat stains. There was mold all along the top of the windows in the front sun room. Definitely from the ceiling leak i reported 3 yrs prior on my last visit. So I walk out to the nice backyard pool area and start looking and its just as bad. The outdoor cushions were covered in grime and animal hair. Not one clean place to sit in the shade. The boats were all damaged and poorly patched. There was only one boat that was useable. The pool looked so bad i took a water test to local pool store. They advised we not get in because the chlorine level was so high. So we left immediately and found somewhere else to stay. The host was friendly and tried to fix the issues i had but there were so many issues I felt it was better to leave. Just needs a little love some bleach, white paint, and new pillows. The host even said its hard for her get in to fix stuff because its always booked. Regular maintenance should come before bookings. I hope she took the week i didn’t stay there to clean and paint. I felt bad leaving but there was no way I could sleep there.

Relaxing Pool House!

We enjoyed the entire month of May at the Pool house.It was very relaxing and enjoyable. Leslie was great to work with, any little problems were fixed right away.We rented the golf cart which really completed our stay. The neighborhood and park are great areas to explore.

Perfect house for a weekend (or longer) getaway. House was very clean and had everything we needed for our weekend stay.
