The Old Mill is clean with a good restaurant. There is a large car park and nice bar area. Staff are friendly and very helpful. My father left some personal items and are mailing them free of charge back to him. I fully recommend it.

A traditional coaching inn that has been well cared for. The en suite was fairly new and the bedroom small but adequate; both were clean and nicely presented. Dinner food/service both very good. Breakfast adequate. All in all we were both very pleased with our decision to stay here.

Gorgeous hotel, so I’m gutted that the whole experience was let down by one staff in the morning on 18/02/25 Firstly, given no instruction on breakfast and how it’s served! Granted I know on my part I could have been proactive and seen cornflakes etc which was in a hidden away corner that wasn’t in my direct eye sight, so this wasn’t the problem for me so much, the general instruction was more a nice to have and to add to the customer experience. Where it doesn’t become a nice to have is when I asked ‘how does breakfast work?’, as I didn’t realise I had to order, I was sat for 10 mins or so where the lady had plenty opportunity to ask, but she didn’t, so I politely asked ‘excuse me’ and was met with attitude!!!! Where a simple question turned into a chore? The one positive I’ll give about the service is the chef did manage to get out my breakfast really quick, which was okay

Fantastic stay.

A beautiful weekend away for my wife and I for our wedding anniversary. The Old Mill is a fantastic place to stay. Very warm and welcoming staff, lovely and clean rooms. Well thought out decor. Excellent food choice and plenty of it on your plate. Will definitely be staying again and recommend to others.

Great 1 night stay at The Old Mill. Check in was smooth greeted by one of the team in reception. Room was clean and comfortable. Pillows were a bit too firm but just my view. Food in restaurant was some of the best pub food I have had for a long time and good value. Restaurant was surprisingly busy for mid-week and good to see. Breakfast also was the same great quality. Will definitely be back!

Good food, nice staff - very poor TV and WiFi

For a Monday night business stay the bar was nice and busy offering a good selection of well priced pub grub with friendly staff who were nice but not experienced servers. Breakfast was also good and included. Room was small, few electric points, no WiFi in room, poor TV reception (No BBC) only a few channels and intermittent signal loss. Overall poor for a hotel in today’s world. Clean and tidy, good bathroom and comfy enough.
