Though the place is probably just fine for people who don't want to go for dog walks, bike rides, or runs, it was a real disappointment for us. The property cost nearly double what we paid at a nice place right on the water up north last summer, and this one is within walking distance of nothing. It's located on a busy road with 10 cars passing by the house just a few feet from the front door every minute. The biggest bummer was that though it's technically close to water, you have to drive to get to it. Even then, you pretty much have to have a boat to use the lakes. We ended up driving 30 miles to get to a pet friendly beach. Beyond that, the basement stairs are super unsafe and unsecured, as are the stairs leading from the deck to the yard. This property is not safe for young children or off-leash pets. On top of that, all of the furniture is at least 30 years old and there is no outdoor lighting whatsoever in case you arrive after sundown.
