Everything is great, the only thing is there are no instructions in the house on what to turn on and how to turn it on. There was also no firewood, although this was not communicated.
The pros of this property include the outdoor sauna (which is beautifully situated on the new back deck overlooking the woods), the game room including the pool table, a spacious and comfortable well decorated living room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the woods, a workable, decently stocked kitchen and comfortable beds and clean linens and towels. The above ground pool and hot tub were clean upon arrival. The outdoor string lights are lovely. The cons include the outside and parts of the inside of the property being significantly run down. Dirty windows, mold in downstairs bathroom, duct tape fixes, outdoor shower disconnected and indoor sauna shower broken and unusable. The tv remote battery dead in both the living room and game room. The smoke detector batteries chirping. Molding plastic chairs near outdoor fireplace. Half the lights are out in the game room.Cigarette butts and trash visible on deck and in yard. Weeds growing in the broken window boxes. We were told to stagger our showers a half hour apart to ensure hot water. No mention of unusable shower sauna in upstairs bedroom prior to our arrival which is prominently featured in listing. This was our one and only family vacation and we had a wonderful time being together but in truth the house was not what it appeared to be in the listing and especially for the price charged.
We ranged in age from 2 to 50. There was plenty to do for all age groups, including teenagers. The communication was fantastic! We had a fire with s'mores, plenty of fun in the pool, the grill was perfect but our favorites were the sauna with outdoor shower and hot tub below! Definitely recommend this home for a group, lots of places to scatter. Be mindful there are multiple levels to use in the home which means lots of steps that are necessary to enjoy the space. One suggestion....add some seating to the main deck level as a few of us mentioned it'd be nice. We'd love to return!
Nice house and amenities but shower in the master bedroom creates a puddle in the kitchen downstairs when used. Great views but a slight infestation of giant black ants
It was awesome! Perfect place to stay for a bachelor's party. One exception that they might want to work on is if you're booking in the summer, the first floor, where all the rooms are, doesn't have AC. Now that's not as much of a problem as you may think. But because one of our days was 95 degrees up there, it was just slightly uncomfortable.
We had a friends weekend with grilling and hiking. The house was amazing, lots of fun inside to escape the rain, the sauna was so cozy with the view out to the forest, and the hot tub was great after a long day hike. Comfy beds, good kitchen, good grill, good times!
We stayed here for a long holiday weekend with family and friends. Overall, the property outside is cute and fits what we expected in terms of being a cabin/woodsy house. Upon arrival, however, we began to notice a number of problems. There was a ton of broken glass outside, broken glassware in the cupboard, and missing kitchen cookware. We contacted the host who sent out a team member to clean up and provide the missing items. The bigger issue came when we used the master bedroom shower, which resulted in water in the pipes POURING through the floor all over the kitchen. We reached out to the host who sent a plumber out for an entire day, and deemed the showers upstairs unusable for our stay. The sauna control board was also broken. At this point, we had lost an entire day to issues, which was disappointing and frustrating. While the host did offer us 15% of our money back for the issues, he stopped responding after our stay to confirm the refund. We reached out to him multiple times with no response and ended up having to reach out to corporate to get the partial refund. Overall, definitely would not return to this property as it doesnât seem well kept by the host. All of these issues added up to a really frustrating weekend.
It was a spectacular stay, the house meets everything to have an incredible rest, its design in the middle of the forest is fantastic, we will surely return!!
The view from this property was top notch .The house was clean and comfortable but there were a few essential things missing , pot holders , seating for the deck and screens in the windows. The hot tub, sauna, steam room and fire pit were very fun to use ! It was a great weekend , thank you
Our weekend was a winter getaway for a group of friends. The house was very clean and had lots of space for everyone to relax. The hot tub, sauna and game room were the highlight for us and we loved the large dining table which worked perfect for the 8 of us and lots of food. Location is secluded and private. My only suggestion is putting another light in the kitchen and maybe a few more cups and plates in the cabinets but otherwise the house is wonderful. Would go again in a heartbeat! We had a blast.
Multi-level cabin with ample bedrooms and bathrooms âŠ.four levels with the master on the top level and a walkout basement with a game room on the bottom level. It was pretty cold and snow during our stay so the walkways and stairs to enter the house was a bit of a challenge. We enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and pool table and took advantage of being close to the Delaware Water Gap for some hiking (although the main road to the park is closed in the winter). Itâs rare to find a home with enough beds for adult children and appreciate this home being dog friendly. The kitchen is dated but we had no issues preparing meals and the upstairs bathroom has been updated, which was nice. Thanks for the hospitality!
Our stay at this home during the holiday season was exceptional! The house was stunningâwarm, inviting, and perfectly suited for a relaxing and fun getaway. It had everything we needed and more, from cozy living spaces to well-equipped amenities. The home truly felt like a retreat, providing both comfort and style. It was the ideal setting for our holiday, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to spend time with loved ones. Highly recommended! A big thank you to our host, Justin, for his exceptional attention and communication throughout our stay.
We wanted Mountain Views and a Justinâs property did not disappoint. The sun rising over the mountains was breathtaking. The property is nicely decorated and was extremely clean for a pet friendly home. It is very obvious that a lot of time has been put into improving and maintaining the property. The pool table and outdoor Sauna were our favorite amenities.
This property is a mess and needs a lot of work to be considered a desirable place to rent.
Check in is 5pm (latest Iâve ever experienced) and it was pitch black. Only instructions we received were the code (they sent it 15 min before check in). There are many doors on many levels so finding which door was a task.
Internet is spotty
The house has good facilities and we all enjoyed being in the hot tub, sauna and game room. The living room is full of sunshine and super cozy. Sleeping arrangement is good with big beds. We all enjoyed it a lot.
This house made us feel like we were in a cabin. Very rustic, but so homey. Also very private. Second to last property on the stoned driveway into it. Had an awesome time. Thank you for the hospitality
Our stay at this house was fantastic for me, my partner, and our dog! The space was beautiful, with very clean bathrooms, and we loved having the pool table and wood stove downstairsâit added such a fun, cozy touch. The location is great, being close to Bushkill Falls and Delaware Water Gap, which allowed us to enjoy some amazing hikes. Watching the wildlife right on the property was a real treat. Communication with the host was quick and easy. One thing to note is that the house is pretty close to the neighbors. Weâll definitely be back, and weâre excited to bring friends and family along next time!
