Great rental and location. We spent 4 nights and were very pleased with this unit. All was as pictured in the listing. Very clean and charming. Kitchen was especially well equipped. Beds were very comfortable; good water pressure; great Wi-Fi connection; adequate parking. Great location near restaurants and shops. Our host Sherri checked in often to ensure that all was well. The only concern is that the access road and driveway were too steep for us to walk to town but we are two seniors with some mobility issues. May not be an issue for others. Thank you for allowing us to stay at this lovely home.

Beautiful, comfortable home, a few minute walk to Eastsound if you can manage the steep hill. Eclectic and artsy with quality furnishings and linens. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked and big for a froip to work in. Nice view from the balcony. .

We loved the attention to detail in this house - the decor, the abundance of towels, the fuzzy blankets and throws, incredibly comfortable beds, and the best stocked kitchen of any vacation home we’ve ever rented. Well worth the price!

Lovely home, centrally located and convenient to all.

This property met all our expectations. It offered a wonderful set up for a family with an amazing master BR and bath. Kitchen was very well stocked with modern appliances, condiments and utensils. TV was great for family viewing. Only difficulty was the driveway and path down to the main road which was steep and not easy to navigate. Could have liked one more TV in BR so that those with different selections could also enjoy. But all in all, a great vacation spot.

This house was a perfect home base of our Orcas adventures. Clean, comfortable, and a wonderfully stocked kitchen. We enjoyed being walkable to downtown but tucked into a quiet area. We are excited to visit again!

Wedding weekend

The location was very close to the outlook inn the site of our daughters wedding. The house was a great space for the bridesmaids to all get ready. Very nice kitchen and balcony. Our 4 yr old granddaughter loved the trundle beds in one of the downstairs bedrooms. Very tranquil location

Beautiful stay on Orcas Island

Our family spent several wonderful days at Sherri's beautiful property on Orcas Island. We enjoyed the views of the sea, ate the blackberries growing outside, walked to town, and cooked inside the well-stocked kitchen. Cascade Lake and Moran Park were just a short drive away, and it's easy to catch a morning ferry back to the mainland because the house is also close to the ferry terminal in the other direction. Thank you, Sherri, for hosting us so wonderfully -- we hope to return next summer!

Great getaway on Orcas

We had a comfortable, easy stay at the clean and spacious home, close to the town of Eastsound. It was a nice base for the family, exploring Moran State Park and doing some crabbing and clamming nearby.

Comfy, clean and close to East Sound

I couldn’t have imagined a better stay than Cool Breeze. As soon as we opened the front door we were in utter amazement at how spacious and sparkling clean everything was. Right away we felt comfortable putting our 9 month old boys on the floor. I usually don’t like to rely on using a rental property grill because everyone I’ve ever encountered needed cleaning, but the grill on this property was sooo clean! The beds were super comfortable with high quality linens. Checkout was a breeze and we really appreciated the little bit of extra time to let my twin grandsons finish their naps and get ready to hit the road. Next time I visit Orcas I hope Cool Breeze is available! Thank you to Sherri for all your gracious communication!

Enjoyed the place. However the TV was not user friendly plus there was no DVD as listed. The back sliding door did not lock. The listing does not mention how steep the road is

Great Time in Eastsound

This was our first VRBO and the property is lovely. It is located close to the town so it was very convenient? Our daughter was traveling with my husband and I and having her own bedroom and bathroom downstairs gave her privacy. We loved sitting on the deck in the morning looking out on the water. We would highly recommend this property.

Tranquil

The property is set among towering trees with views of the water. We enjoyed breakfast on the deck listening to the birds. We spotted deer several mornings as well. Even though it feels secluded, it is only a short walk into town. However, there is a steep road leading to the house which makes the walk back a bit challenging, but doable. Otherwise it's a quick two minute drive to town. Excellent location. The property was spotless and very comfortable. The house was well stocked with the essentials. We really enjoyed our stay!

Our Getaway

We really enjoyed our week on Orcas Island. Sherri was the perfect host, available but unobtrusive and quick to respond to my questions. If you’re looking for relaxing downtime and outdoor recreation you’ll find it here. The town of Eastsound is charming; we discovered small shops and nice dining options. Check out The Brown Bear Bakery, The Clever Cow and Orcas Pottery There is also a nice market for groceries. We will return!
