Upon entry, my wife was washing her hand when she discovered the sink was backed up and almost overflowing. We reached out to the front desk in the hopes of being given a new room with a working sink. The attendant notified me that they were fully booked and he would try to resolve the issue. He then proceeded to come back to the room with a clearly used plunger that was wrapped up in a plastic grocery bag. He attempted to unclog the sink with the plunger which did not work. We then had a full sink with water that was now contaminated from the used toilet plunger. The water had splashed all over the sink/ counter and my wife’s toothbrush that was in the counter, I had to go back out front and request disinfectant which I was originally told there was none. Eventually the attendant was able to speak to the handyman who guided us on how to fix the issue and disinfectant was found to wipe down the area. We later discovered the tub was backed up as well…. While we appreciate the front desk attendant’s attempt to assist us, the whole situation was off putting and extremely unsanitary, I will not be returning.

Will never stay here again, we are a young couple who stayed here for one night for Valentine’s Day. Was not in the room the whole day except to sleep. We booked a “suite” it looked just like the other rooms. They also blamed us for smoking in the room because they saw tobacco leaf in the TRASH CAN. We went outside to smoke like we were told to! Did not once smoke in the room or on the balcony and they’re refusing to return our security deposit. SCAM

We stayed here so we can have a Spa day at Sojo Spa and followed by dinner in the area. Sojo Spa is walking distance from the hotel. It was so convenient and we were able to uber to Fort Lee to go have dinner afterwards. The trip was less than $11 and we got there in under 8min. We will definitely stay here again. They also provided free Breakfast. It was decent and nothing crazy.

Good hotel, great price.

Front desk staff were very friendly and we were greeted coming and going. Check-in was easy and quick. Breakfast was included with our stay and it was just okay. It fit the bill for what we needed. Room was ok. We had a tough time getting the right temperature-it was either too hot or too cold, so we were constantly adjusting it through the night. The bed was old and worn. Other than that, the room was comfortable and large. Plenty of room for 2 people. The balcony was a nice addition. The hotel was in walking distance to a trader joe's, a spa, and a few restaurants. Overall, it fit our needs for our 2 night visit.

Had an issue with the adjoining door not closing or locking fully. It was situated next to an "employees only" room. When I attempted to check if the adjoining door would fully lock and sit flush, someone yelled curtly from the other side of the wall, "Is there a reason you're attempting to enter this room?" I explained that I was just ensuring it was fully locked on my end, but they replied dismissively with, "Yeah, yeah, yeah." They then continued to make noise and fidget with the door on their end. Shortly after, I found a bed bug and immediately checked out. Management was supposed to call me today, but they never did.
