This rental property was nice and offered a very comfortable stay. The interior was well-maintained and nicely decorated, providing a pleasant atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed the comfortable beds and sinks in a couple of the bedrooms. The flat is near several bus routes, making travel quite easy. However, it's important for future renters to be aware of the significant number of stairs. There are 4 flights of stairs to access the flat. While this wasn't a major issue for us, it could be challenging for individuals with mobility concerns or those traveling with heavy luggage.Overall, if you're comfortable with stairs, this is a fantastic rental with a lot to offer!
If you want to see what itâs like to live in the great city of Edinburgh when you visit, then this top floor flat near the Meadows is ideal. We enjoyed the proximity to the tourist aspects while enjoying the neighbourhood amenities (coffee shops, best fish and chips, groceries, close bus stops, good restaurants nearby). The flat is nicely furnished with very firm beds and the bonus of sinks in some bedrooms. Room darkening blinds were appreciated as it was light very late and early morning during our June stay. A clothes washer was a bonus and an PS4 was a great surprise. The neighbourhood is quiet and friendly. Our stay here was a great introduction to our holiday in Scotland.
We had a wonderful time. Loved being next to the park- so much going on there. The walk to the Royal Mile and to restaurants was very manageable. The only negative was that the three flights of stairs was daunting, particularly after walking around the city for hours.
I cannot see the original listing to respond to the accuracy of online listing, but our group agreed that the apartment was updated, extremely clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. We received emails with explicit instructions for arrival and departure, so we had no need to communicate further, though the offer was there if we had issues. As Americans on what we would call the 4th floor, not having a lift to help us finish the trek home was a bit tiring after days of walking the city, but we would do it again if we get the chance to return to Edinburgh
