The room was down several stairs. No lift. Situated basically in the basement.. No window just a sky light. Making the already tiny tiny room, Stuffy.. A fan was provided. It offered some comfort. The staff was probably the best part. I feel as we were charged too much for a Small room with a double bed. Which is what I ordered but upon seeing it in person it seemed overpriced.

The hotel team were very helpful, attentive and friendly. They offered to carry our luggage as there was no lift on site, excellent customer service. The room was compact, but very clean and comfortable, with all that we needed for a one noight stay.

Amazing view from the window, spacious room, very clean and tidy. They provide complete of teas, coffee, iron, and hairdryer. I love the big mirror in bed room and a beautiful mirror in shower room. Staff are nice and helpfull. Close to station and mall. It doesn't has lift but the stairs is not bad for a little exercise.

We requested for a ground floor room... got 2nd floor room alloted and unfortunately they dint had elevators in premise... But guess what.. then we had Alex and the management that care and she helped worked out options to get us room on 1st floor..with a complementary upgrade of the room to suite. . In terms of breakfast..its was not a buffet, they served 1 item out of 7 as part of paid breakfast

This hotel is very nice. It is very conveniently located, just a block from the train and bus stations as well as old city center of Edinburgh. The staff gave me a free upgrade to a suite which was wonderful, except that this was the “ literary suite” with 3 full-size paintings of famous Scottish authors on the wall, staring at you…

Great walkable location. Staff is very friendly and effective for quick requests. Clean place. Only complaint is that our bed was very uncomfortable, lumpy and hard. Would recommend they invest in new plush mattresses.

Good value of money to stay in a lovely city

Excellent location and WiFi access. We are on the top floor which was quite warm, No air condition but a fan is provided. We found a tiny spider on the pillow, but overall are good and clean. No complaint :-)

Hôtel très bien situé, avec toutes les commmodités proches, à pieds ou en tram à seulement quelques mètres de l'hôtel. Très pratique pour venir ou aller à l'aéroport. La chambre était propre, spacieuse et confortable avec une belle vue au 2ème étage. Il lui manquait toutefois quelques petits éléments à améliorer: un petit meuble sous la TV ou une table pour poser des affaires, et il manquait les appliques murales lumineuses de chaque côté du lit. Mais nous avons tout de même passé un très bon séjour. Le personnel est professionnel et très agréable. On nous a gentiment gardé les bagages avant l'heure du check-in, et même portés jusqu'à la chambre. A noter que l'hôtel vous contacte par un lien whats'app dès votre réservation pour vous donner plein d'informations utiles et répondre à toutes vos questions, ce qui est très appréciable quand on arrive dans une ville que l'on ne connaît pas. Merci beaucoup!

A beautiful georgian property. High ceilings and big windows. No lift but help offered immediately with our luggage. I noted a large car park, tram and Bus routes but we walked everywhere...... just 15 mins from Princes st and Waverly.
