A great property & 1 night stay. Inn was clean, updated & inviting The bed was very comfortable, the carpet & couch were clean & in good condition. The view from our 2nd floor room was beautiful, especially with the October full moon & fall colours. The breakfast area was well looked after; always stocked and kept clean of messes & spills, thank you for that. Only 2 minor issues; we could not switch the faucet from shower to tub no matter how hard we tried and with our room being next to a hallway fire door we heard it slam shut with each early departure. I'd not hesitate to stay here again.

I stayed overnight twice … on my way to Nova Scotia and then my return seven days later. The desk clerk for the first stay appeared to be doing me a favour by serving me. The room had a broken bathroom sink which made it unusable, a desk lamp with a burnt out bulb and the telephone did not work. The second stay was a bit better … the desk clerk appeared to enjoy his work. The fridge in the second room worked … very loudly. I unplugged it. Also, there was a noise group of people drinking in the parking lot until late in the evening. Kind of place you would plan to spend one night at.

Bathroom sink did not drain & room phone did not work & lightbulb burned out. They changed my room and the second room had a broken A/C unit. They gave me another room and it had the same problem… the A/C unit was on full and there were no knobs to turn it off. I fixed the sink in the first room and stayed there.

The air con sounded like a train and the room was small. The front desk staff were unhelpful and didn’t provide info on breakfast or on amenities. Breakfast closed at 9 am, we arrived at 9:01 unaware that it closed so early and they refused us food. The hotel has two floor and no elevator, we were travelling with two disabled adults and were refused a main floor room, claiming they were full, however in the morning it was obvious as we packed up that several of the main floor rooms hadn’t been used. I would NOT recommend this hotel, over priced, bad service and poor quality.
