I have to say I was nervous staying here but not for the reasons you’d expect.?We pulled into the lot at 8 PM. and saw only TWO other vehicles. I’ve never stayed in a nearly deserted hotel before. By morning we counted 10 cars. Note that this place is nearly new and the only other business was a McDonalds across the road that was also pretty new and a farm implement store. I think the development is just beginning in this locale. We had a super quiet night obviously. Also when my husband accidentally set off the truck alarm at 2AM we saw the desk manager take a stroll around the entire building. Impressive!

The staff was very kind and friendly. The rooms were xlean and the mattress was very comfortable! The breakfast options were wonderful, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, bagels and more. We plan to stay there again on our next trip. We were visiting family in the area.

The red flags were everywhere, but how bad could it be for the reduced rate of $44? Well, there was a tarp covering a portion of the wall on the backside of the hotel. Next to abandoned lawn furniture which I think was salvaged to give them employees a place to smoke. The front desk guy was wearing a t-shirt and couldn't answer most of our questions. The smell. The smell y'all. I kid you not, I could not wear my pajamas the following night because they soaked up the smell. The smell reminded me of my grandma's basement... if she had a flood and no one came to clean it. And her dog, Sparky, died in it and wasn't found for a month. My daughter's didn't sleep under the covers because they were stained. It was hot so I went to turn down the air conditioning. The flap fell off. My hand went through a cobweb full of bugs in order to change the temp. The bathroom door didn't shut and had dried yellow foam following off of it. Was it spray foam? Was it my will to survive? My hopes and dreams? Will we ever know? My husband and sons decided to just keep the lights off in their room and went straight to sleep. Don't stay here. Just Venmo me $5 as a thank you. @KellyDriscoll7

Not enough seating at breakfast, unsafe water, bathroom door did not close, time on tv incorrect, bathroom outdated and not very clean. Air conditioning doesn’t register correctly, had to turn way down, and was still really humid. Friendly, helpful staff.
