Great for price, comfortable. The basics.

No complaints or over praise. Easy check in, friendly staff, decent breakfast, they helped with calling a taxi to the bus station as well. Rooms and bathrooms are old and could use some care but they’re clean. Beds were comfortable as well. Great for the price.

Phenomenal staff

The two women that run the hostal are excellent and really make the place. The hostal itself is average. Coffee terrible. We would go back just because the service is so great.

Loved the rose garden, like in photo. Room clean but old and worn. Nice staff (who spoke English). Good location to downtown (2 blocks). Only bad was the very loud noise of toilet flushing.

Good location, close to main street

Good, attentive service from staff. Hosteria is in a good location close to the main Street in El Calafate. The plumbing and extractor fans made horrible noises but the room was clean and as expected for the price.

Good: Clean comfortable beds and a walk in shower. The breakfast was basic but very good choice and enough to keep you going. Bad: The Wi-Fi was unstable, sometimes okay other times dead.

Good option in El Calafate

Comfortable hotel close to the center of El Calafate with a reasonable price. Staff were always friendly and helpful, booked several things for us: taxi from airport, bus to/from El Chalten, New Years eve dinner. Just a couple of blocks away from Hielo y Aventura, supermarket, and various restaurants.

We stayed for one night and it was perfect for our needs. A welcoming smile on arrival, a comfortable bed and great water pressure. Only a 15 minute walk to the bus station for trips to the glacier and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful.

Great little hotel.

The hotel was lovely, the room was nice and big and both the room and bathroom were very clean. Very friendly staff and not too far from the main road of shops and restaurants. Good value for money and would happily recommend if you're staying in El Calafate.

Affordable hotel in Calafate

A bargain price for the space they gave us and for how large and clean the bathroom is. It is a small walk up from the town but only 5-10 min walk to the bank and great restaurants. The rooms are spread far enough apart that hearing others isn’t a problem and there is a grocery store right around the corner for cheap wine and beer. The concierge booked our return shuttle and I heard her booked dinner reservations for a large group. Very helpful.

Perfect Place To Stay

Perfect place. Run by a partnership of women and it shows. Some nice touches throughout. CLEAN !!! Room has a CHAIR and a luggage stand - awesome. Staff was SO FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL, particularly Noelia who spoke great English and helped with some logistics. My luggage got mishandled by transport service (long story) and the staff helped me track it down - so helpful. Location great, just outside the main street - and easy walk to all. WIFI wonderful. Breakfast terrific with nice setting. Awesome place.

Great place with amazing service

The service is what makes this place truly special. From moment one the lady at reception couldn’t have been more helpful, whether explaining the basics or helping out with transfers and printing airport documentation. The accomodation itself was also absolutely fab. Clean, comfortable rooms at a great price. We can not recommend this place highly enough!
