Bahia Pez Vela is set in a lush tropical cove with a black sand beach, poolside restaurant and bar and an additional pool only steps from the villa. You will experience the finest amenities with a well equipped kitchen, spacious bedrooms and in-villa laundry facilities. The friendly and knowledgeable staff is there to assist you with tours, travel suggestions and local activities. There are concierge, 24 hour security, maintenance and maid services available throughout your stay. You will be very pleased with the accommodating and professional approach of the office staff who provide the concierge service and will do the best they can to ensure your needs and desires are met. You will find the office staff can communicate effectively with you in English and Spanish.
Bahia Pez Vela is located in the state of Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Guanacaste is a great place to visit year round, with lush green hillsides during the rainy season, incredible lightning shows in June and July, local fiestas during December, January and February and always beautiful beaches. You can take part in deep sea fishing leaving from your beach. Costa Rica is known as an excellent birding location with many varieties of birds right on the property and many more in the near by areas. Scuba diving and snorkeling enthusiasts will be in 7th heaven because of the easy access to prime time diving. There are many places to go hiking including a vigorous walk with fabulous ocean views in the Ocotal loop just outside the property. You won't want to miss the areas claim to fame, the adventurous and scenic zip lines. You will enjoy eating out at the variety of restaurants and 'sodas', all providing great food. If you prefer to prepare your meals in the well-equipped kitchen in the villa, there are excellent grocery stores (Auto Mercado and Super Luperon) and local fruit stands that provide all that you will need for your home-cooked meals. You can be assured of fun in the sun everywhere you go, especially at the beaches and pools.
You will feel secure because of the gated guard house and the 24 hour security. Each of the guards are personable, friendly and your safety is their main concern, as well as you having a wonderful time.

Some of our favorite activities include the Palo Verde River Tour, the Rincon de la Vieja adventure tour, Witch's Rock Canopy (zip line) Tour, a sunset cruise and any fiesta that happens to be in the area. Visiting the lovely beaches in the area, as well as the restaurants and shopping are always fun.
