We booked the Side-by-side mountain cabins for our ladies’ group weekend getaway. With a group of 23 women, we were confident in the two houses to accommodate everyone. The two houses were spacious, welcoming with beautiful décor, comfy furniture and entertainment.
However, we were met with challenges from the moment we arrived. For starters, we weren’t given the correct code to enter the larger house (the black house) and when we called customer service, we were told we didn’t book both properties. This came as a shock being that our confirmation showed we booked both via email and text message. The customer service representative(s) weren’t very receptive to our concerns and to make matters worse, it took almost an hour to clear up the confusion.
When we finally gained access to both houses, we found several unclean things. Such as dog hairs on the sheets, the downstairs tub wouldn’t drain properly which lead to standing water when guests showered. This led to an uncomfortable showering experience and resulted in the tub staying dirty due to the slow draining water.
Finally, the description led us to believe that there were enough beds to accommodate our group. The trundles were poorly positioned which made it impossible for guests to use.
All in all, the description did not match the reality of the space, and we were left scrambling and several of our ladies had uncomfortable sleeping arrangements.
The kitchen outlets kept shorting out which made kitchen a challenge.
