I hate to give a bad review, and maybe we just had a bad room (Spinnaker), but I want to be honest so other travelers know what to expect. Our room was musty and humid our entire stay (three nights). The room was clean enough, but it needed some deep cleaning, and it was pretty worn. It needed paint touch-upâs and a few other projects. We thought since there was a kitchenette and cabinets that there wld be dishes and cutlery, but we only had two small coffee cups, two tiny spoons, and two decaf and regular coffee pods (and we reserved the room for four people for three nights). The pillows and mattresses were pretty lumpy. Also the compound was kind of confusing. We didnât see any signage for the communal kitchen and sauna, although we didnât walk around knocking on doors either. I wasnât expecting anything flash, but it just felt run-down. The photos of the beautiful stone and beam kitchenette must be the communal kitchen that we didnât see. Itâs in a good location if you like the quieter part of DC.
