This property needs some help, a few amenities were non-compliant, parts of the kitchen were not secure and very skimpy. There were sheets and towels all over the hallway. And we were skeptical about the cleanliness of the apartment.
I have traveled quite a bit globally and this was without a doubt the worst stay that I've ever had. We booked a 4 bedroom with 3 queen beds and 1 single bed for our stay. The 1 single bed was actually a cot with sheets and not what was shown in the pictures. When we brought this up, it wasn't fixed.
It was obvious that the room hadn't been cleaned before our arrival because the dinner table and kitchen counters had dirt and dust all over them.
The heaters weren't working in three of the four rooms in the apartment. This was finally fixed after a couple of days.
The microwave didn't work so they had to bring a replacement.
The worst of all were the showers. It four days before they fixed our showers correctly after having to suffer with freezing cold and scolding hot water in the showers. They came out the first two times to fix them and it wasn't corrected. Then they changed the water pump, still didn't work. Finally on the fourth day they changed the thermo and it finally worked.
Communication sucked, the owner and the property manager weren't helpful. The owner even told us if it was him he would checkout and stay somewhere else.
But they still refused to give us a refund.
I could not say all that I want on this review because of the character limit but I would stay far away from this place.
It is a scam and ripoff.
Excellent location, close to restaurants, 2 underground stations, buses, museums and a lot more. Easy to find and access apartment. Apartment is very spacious and nice
Was advised as we arrived at Heathrow that the Apartments had been flooded.With a few minutes notice we had to find alternate accommodation for the same week as the Chelsea flower Show.The apartments then advised Hotels.com we failed to arrive and attempted to keep our payment for 7 nights!
Thank goodness for the Fraud team at Hotels.com/Expedia for sorting out our refund
Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location. Building and apartment needs upkeep. The unit does not have AC, only one bed is King and the other is Queen.
