Lovely hotel, seemed to cater for everyone, from couples on a short stay to wedding parties. Very comfortable hotel in a very convenient location for Ennis town centre and the surrounding area. Nice entrance and reception, nice lounges and bar and the breakfast was huge and sets you up for the day. Free parking directly outside. Would recommend and will return.

The Temple Gate hotel is a gem in Ennis, our room was very large and beautifully appointed. All of the shops and dining in the town centre were right there, very happy with our stay!

Nice hotel

Very friendly staff. We arrived early morning after an overnight flight. They were kind enough to find an available room and let us check-in by 9:30 for a much needed nap. Comfortable rooms, great location. Only downside is that the bathtubs are high sided making it a bit tricky to get in and out of for a shower.

Very convenient to centre of town of Ennis. Beds , pillows very comfortable, bedlinen perfect. Very clean. Good breakfast. Staff of breakfast room, just the person who served me - She needs training on serving, ie how to put the plates of food on table to guests. Thats the big thing I noticed.

Fabulous Stay in Ennis

All staff were friendly, professional and did everything they could to make our stay wonderful. It is also the perfect location to explore Ennis. Room was clean and comfortable. Can’t think of anything that could have been better.

Temple gate is a very nice hotel offering a variety of dining choices with something in most price ranges. Breakfast is fine, but choices are limited for non-egg eaters. The staff are helpful and attentive. A special shoutout to Lee one of the managers and to Jack in the bar. Delightful fellows and understand service. The hotel is truly in the center of town and makes it very convenient to walk everywhere. It is literally next to the Clare Museum. Parking was ample and close to the hotel. The room and beds were comfortable and large enough for two friends to share on holiday. Enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend.

Great hotel. The staff was fantastic very warm and welcoming. Laundry service was a bit expensive, but very well worth it. Breakfast was great and we loved the dinner options too. Wonderful servers and delicious meals. Very convenient to shopping and the train station.
