We enjoyed our stay at The Old Mill. Claude and Sylviane were very welcoming hosts. We were a large family group of 15 and there was plenty of space for us comfortably. The property was clean and well presented. The two kitchens, were extremely well stocked with everything a big group needs for a self catering holiday. There was no shortage of crockery, cutlery, pans, bowls and serving dishes, condiments, herbs and spices and so on.We spent most of our time in and around the pool and the adjacent outside kitchen area where we had access to our drinks in the large American style fridge/freezer. Here there was also a barbecue, electric hob and an air fryer. This is a covered dining area with two large dining tables and we spent many an hour here each day for lunch and relaxing in the warm evenings playing games.We have stayed in many holiday homes abroad and this was by far the best equipped.We played a lot of table tennis, boules, badminton, basketball and cricket. On one evening Claude’s son who is a professional chef came an cooked excellent meal for us. What a treat!We visited in the last two weeks of August and were disappointed to find that no restaurants in the village were open as they had all closed for their own holidays!

The property itself is exceptional, well maintained and felt really spacey even with the 14 people we visited with! Fantastic stay at the old mill

Claude and Sylviane were great hosts, very welcoming, attentive and helpful. They wanted to make sure you had everything you needed even buying paddle pools for the baby. The villa was beautiful, well equipped and safe. It was very close to the supermarket, bakery and train station, all of which were in walking distance. Plenty of games to play in the villa for a family and plenty of places to sit if you need a quiet place. Would highly recommend.

Moulin Vieux is a beautiful farmhouse tucked away in the small town of Entraigues. There are enough bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate everyone without feeling cramped. The outdoor property is fantastic with a full kitchen, patios, pool, and gardens. Most of our time at the house was spent here. Claude and Sylviane are lovely, warm and inviting. They were immediately responsive from my first contact. And they were available when we reached out. In fact Claude drove my daughter and her family to the TGV station in Avignon at the last minute. And finally, to add to the atmosphere, Their son Alex is a fabulous chef who prepared two delicious dinners for us . All in all, 2 weeks of total pleasure.

Great property for exploring the Provence with a large group

We had our 2 daughters with their husbands and children, as well as visits by a couple of friends who stayed for a few nights. The property was perfect for our group, with 7 bedrooms, 5 ensuite with AC. The large living areas and the two kitchens (one indoor, one outdoor) allowed everyone to have independence, read/play games/even work remotely, or to all gather for a family meal. Having a washer/dryer and a Carrefour around the corner was great for a group with little kids! But the best thing about Le Moulin Vieux is the hosts. Claude, Sylviane, and Alex made our stay extra special, and were quick to respond to questions. Everyone in our party agreed that they made our vacation special. Alex prepared 5 dinners, each one gourmet and delicious; worthy of a Michelin star! The pool allowed us to cool down on hot days. It was one depth (5 feet or 1.5 meters) throughout and Alex constantly kept it clean and cool. The outdoor kitchen was incredible and well-stocked! We ate many meals out there (despite the mosquitoes!). I can think of only a couple of things that were less than perfect. The squeaky wood floors were bothersome and anyone walking downstairs might wake up those on the middle floor. There are no bedrooms and no AC on the ground floor, one ensuite bedroom is a flight of stairs up, the other 4 are 2 flights of stairs up (1 has a loft bedroom up another set of stairs, and 1 has a similar loft bathroom). Overall we had an amazing stay and would come back!

Wonderful Stay at the COMH

Our hosts were wonderful over the entire three week stay. They were attentive to our every need/want. They were close, but not too close. All my guests were welcome and comfortable during our stay were we saw three groups of family and friends come for a week at a time. The charming old mill house, that we call COMH, was centrally located with easy access to Avignon and the rest of Provence. My only sadness is our time came to an end and we needed to say “au revoir” to our host, and new friends in Provence.

Fantastic home and location… Owners were wonderful

We were a group of 11 with a mix of family and friends… Sylviane and Claude were wonderful and the house was Beautiful. It is a very short walk to the village with groceries restaurants and cafés… if we return to Provence we will definitely stay here again

Fun family time in Provence

From the initial booking through to handing the keys back at the end of our stay, the hosts could not have been more helpful. We had small children with us and the owners ensured the pool had a cover on which meant we could close it off completely when needed. The other facilities, like the table tennis and basketball and badminton courts made for some great family fun. We would definitely recommend this villa.

Perfect holiday in exceptional house with outstanding hosts

We had a fantastic week in the Vieux Moulin. The house is amazing - beautiful bedrooms with bathrooms, fully equipped, in- and outside kitchen, very clean ... simply amazing. We spent the holiday with my family, including kids & teenagers; given the size of the property with a beautiful garden, at no point in time it felt 'overcrowded' as it is easy to 'escape' to a quiet area when the kids go a bit wild. Location of the Villa speaks for itself - so many great things to visit ! The villa is amazing - the hosts exceptional. Sylviane and Claude's goal is to assure that you can relax, enjoy your holiday - they will make themselves available, nothing is too much. And most importantly, they do this is a very nice way - nothing more annoying than an owner who is 'in your face' the whole time; absolutely not the case here - Claude and Sylviane are fantastic. A Beautiful Villa

The villa was great, each bedroom was different and very well fitted out (and, thankfully, most of them had A/C!) There were plenty of areas for people either to get together or to spread out for some peace and quiet (we had 7 adults and 7 children). The outside kitchen / dining was brilliant, nicely in the shade during the very hot weather and the ability to be there and still see what was happening with the kids in the pool was great. The pool itself was brilliant and we spent much of our time in and around it, although anyone with small children should note that there is no shallow end. The location of the villa was really good, with a boulangerie at the end of the lane and a decent supermarket 800m from the villa, and the village of Entraigues-sur-la-Sorgue within easy walking distance. It was also handy for public transport connections. Our hosts, Claude and Sylviane, could not have been more helpful, and went above and beyond to help us during our stay. Overall, a truly delightful villa and a wonderful stay with the extended family, thank you Claude and Sylviane.

A lovely week at the old mill.

We enjoyed our week at the old mill. The house was spacious and very clean. Everything you need for your stay is provided. Pool area and outside kitchen great so we were rarely in the house other than to sleep. Lots of things to do on site, boule, badminton, basketball, table tennis and bikes. The hosts were lovely and very helpful. We had young children so they fenced off the pool area for safety. Shops within walking distance and a few small restaurants.

Amazing house in charming village

We had an amazing week with our children and grandkids celebrating our birthdays together. The house was setup perfect with a bedroom and bathroom for everyone and with lots of spaces for entertaining. We spent most of the time outside by the pool and the outdoor kitchen where we had all our meals. So easy and convenient. There were also a boule and tennis court where we had fun with the kids. The Moulin Vieux is perfectly located with walking distance to bakeries, shops and restaurants and easy access by train or car to Avignon. We did day trips to Arles, Gordes, Chateauneuf du Pape, Isle sur la Sourge and wineries of course. We have already planned to come back in a few years as we didn’t have enough time to visit all the surrounding places and are looking forward to stay at Le Moulin Vieux again. We warmly recommend Le Moulin Vieux for an unforgettable stay and vacation in Provence.

Like a scene from a movie

This property is likely the most special place we have ever stayed. We travelled alot prior to Covid and love staying at villas. This has been our absolute favourite. The Villa is even more beautiful than the amazing pictures provided. The owner/hosts are so attentive and really care about the travellers experience. Claude and Sylvianne, go well beyond to make sure everyone has the experience they are hoping for.
