We loved your welcoming and professional Staff, the location, easy access to the freeway, villa's floor plan, the cleanliness, the environment. It was great! We highly recommend it! We will definitely go back! Thank you! We didn't like the fact that there was no light in the master bathroom, and in the second bathroom, none of the outlets worked. Bummer!

I liked the activities available for kids and adults. On Mother’s day weekend, a little short of staff, at the Canyon Grille, no answer when calling Front Desk so had to call Concierge. Otherwise, good experience.

Stayed here last year..no issues..this year well not so good. We were in a villa open the door to a huge marijuana smell. Tv in the living room don’t work or the fireplace in living room didn’t work. Had maintenance up twice. Then go to soak in the jetted tub and nope jets don’t work. I called and called. Finally got a supervisor and they refunded me my resort fees. Had to have the maintenance guys come up and they were supposed to be while we are gone. My 5 year old put the DND on the door and they never came in. Didn’t call me or text as that’s what the resort told me to do but they couldn’t call me. The pool that was supposed to be open wasn’t and the slide for the other pool opened at late and closed at early. We were not alone with our complaints as we had asked a few other people and they were having the same issues. After being told they wouldn’t fix the tub and there was a temporary fix we filled it to try and it and black flakey stuff kept coming out of it. We will not be back again next year.

Finally the normies can stay!!

I lived in Escondido for like 18 years and delivered pizza all over North county and a few times to the welk resort. But it used to not be available unless you had ownership or whatever to stay. Now that it's available for us normal people I stayed. I was not disappointed. One thing they should offer is HDMI hookups for laptops in the living room. Would be nice if I could game or put movies on my laptop and send it to the giant TV. Also they need to do a better job at spraying for ants. My girl left a box of doughnuts on the counter while we went out to see a movie and have dinner and they were covered in ants when we got back. Seems they came in through the dishwasher? But the morning I left they were in the shower and toilet area. But I would stay there again. It's a gorgeous spot and it's quiet and only about 10 minutes to Escondido where all the food and stuff is.

Rooms are spacious & clean. Property is a bit dated, but largely in good shape. Difficult to stream on TVs & even work the TVs. Would stay there again if needed full kitchen LR & extra bedroom.
