Our room didn't have a closet or a place to hang clothes. The manager brought us a a clothes stand immediately. The shower was small. The bed was good! The full kitchen was great! The staff was very nice and accommodating!

Limited parking overflow parking is in the back of property dark and dirt road area with no direction of parking. Hard to see to walk back to your unit.

Awesome Stay!

We loved our stay at Appenzell and plan to go again. Hailie gave us a wonderful check in experience, and was so pleasant and helpful! Our room was beautiful and spacious, and exceeded all expectations. It was very clean and comfortable. The only issue really was some noise in the early mornings, from plumbing and slamming doors, but that's often the case at any hotel as early risers get their day started. Evenings were really quiet. It was a great experience, and we're so grateful!

Clean and Hot Tub

Overall the place was cute and clean. We booked this hotel because the hotels.com listing said it had an elevator. There are many other properties that are comparable that didn’t have elevators and once we got there we realized a lot of those other properties are only one floor. We checked in and was told our room doesn’t have an elevator but luckily we only had to drag our stuff up about 8 steps. They do have some rooms available that do have elevators so be sure to ask before booking if you need one. Breakfast had no protein so we didn’t end up eating there. Cereals, breads, danishes was about it. They do offer snacks in the evening like s'mores, granola bars, etc which was nice. The hot tub was nice. Location was good. Down the street from the grocery store.

The staff is so helpful and friendly. There are lots of special touches, like smores in the evenings, complimentary snacks in the lobby, Bath and Body Works products provided in the rooms. I was here 2 weeks ago with friends and loved it so much that I brought my mother here for Mother's Day.

Hot water in shower did not work. Reported to front desk. They were to send maintenance to repair wbile we were out. Upon return, still no hot water in shower. When we checked out and reported the issue, front desk teplied hmm thats not good. Black hairs in spa tub with film. Indoor pool was as cold as glacial run off. Breakfast was sub par. Beds were hard as a rock. It was an ordinary motel. Nothing fancy, definitely not the worst. I'd rate this lodging a 5 out of 10.

The Appenzell Inn in Estes Park is a charming, cozy retreat with stunning mountain views. The rooms are spotless and beautifully decorated, and the staff is incredibly welcoming. Its peaceful atmosphere and convenient location make it perfect for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Rocky Mountain National Park!

We only stayed here for one night to attend a comedy show at the Stanley hotel. Room was a deluxe king suite. It was very roomy and clean. Had a spa tub, microwave, fridge and small kitchen sink. Our room had a view of the mountains. It is about a 3-5 minute drive to the Stanley hotel and about less than 10 minute drive to the main street with all the shops and restaurants. Staff was very friendly. We were able to check in earlier than the 4:00 check in. The continental breakfast offered was nothing special. There were a couple areas around the property to hang out by a fire pit and make s'mores as well as yard games. In building B, where we we stayed, there was a lounge area to play board games. Across from our building was the indoor pool. We would stay here again.

Worth it!

We had the 2 room Chalet Suite for a night trip with the family. Clean indoor pool, nice hot tub, super friendly staff with s'mores campfire and popcorn. Great playground area. All around 5 stars here! Thank you!
