Courtney Cottage est situé dans un quartier calme et est l'un des endroits les plus convoités d'Estes Park, à seulement quatre minutes à pied des boutiques et des restaurants du centre-ville d'Estes. De belles promenades le long des chemins fluviaux ne sont qu'à quelques pùtés de maisons.

Cette cabine unique comprend une nouvelle literie, du linge de maison et des ustensiles de cuisine. Le salon dispose de grandes baies vitrées avec vue sur le village et est livré avec une télévision à écran plat avec Netflix ainsi qu'un lecteur DVD. WiFi gratuit est disponible pour votre commodité. This place is a dump and has many neglected maintenance issues.The plugs in kitchen by coffee maker don’t work so this morning we were not able to have hot coffee if we wanted to use the toaster. The one by the microwave worked but then can’t use both plugs in same outlet without getting shorted out. The bathroom plugs didn’t work either therefore couldn’t curl or blow dry hair. The shower was impossible to regulate water temperature it went from scalding to cold. Last night I pre heated the oven to bake chicken and the oven door handle was held by glue which when hot the door handle and hot metal burned my hand. There was mold in the shower and not even a curtain just a thin piece of plastic that was not secure. The kitchen kettles had broken lids and no teaspoons for coffee. Also the bedrooms were full of dust bunnies on the floor. This place needs to be removed from renting and repairs made. The lack of maintenance is hazardous to guest stay. My husband and I have come down with cold like symptoms and we will see if our health improves now that we left because there was mold. I booked a place with a kitchen so we could eat a couple meals in but couldn’t since we couldn’t own the oven and this morning couldn’t complete breakfast. This host is negligible and lacks the basics to hospitable stay. I reported the issues last night immediately . I will file a complaint with the licensing with the county fot short term rentals. I incurred many additional costs on meals due to

Great Location

Just steps from downtown and a coupleMinutes drive from the park this place is great for someone who is looking to explore Estes Park and the surrounding neighborhood. The itself is definitely on the older side and could use some upgrading that doesn’t matter when out exploring all day.

Great location!

Easy access to RMNP which was our main reason for staying there but also close to shops, dining. A little dated in the inside, & it was warm. But the fans and curtains were very helpful. We would stay here again.

Hot hot hot

It was SO hot inside. Outside air was comfortable or even cool, but there was no way to get the air to flow. Bedrooms had windows that would open a few inches and fans. But the big living room was basically a greenhouse that trapped the heat with only a small section of screen on the storm door to let air through. The front door didn’t have a screen so no airflow that way either. Overall it just isn’t as nice as the pictures look.

We had a wonderful trip. The only issue we had was booking the trip. After we booked and paid for the trip we were told we couldnt stay at the property. We were told we could stay somewhere else but it wouldnt be able to accommodate the amount of ppl we had. Offered a diacount then they changed their minds. The communication between vacasa and myself was awful. I thought we were being scammed. I will never book through this site again.

Good location. Very comfortable. Clean. Ideal for guys, though some people might find it tired looking and dated. Nit-picky suggestion: change all lighting to warm lights instead of mixture of warm and bright light. Little things make a difference.

Close proximity to town

Overall, the house was adequate for what was needed. A place close to the park and close to town and a place to rest our feet and sleep. As with most houses in Estes proper, it's an old house. It has the old musty house smell that went away after opening windows. However, we had to repeat the process every evening since we couldn't leave the windows open while gone. The windows could use an updating - done wouldn't open, some screens were messed up and they were hard to open. Overall, it was close to town which is what we wanted and was a place to sleep. The furniture and bedding were nice and updated.

Perfect location, imperfect house

This could hardly be placed better in Estes Park. Easy access to downtown, RMNP, and the back ways through the town to avoid traffic. Just walking the neighborhood is a treat. The house needs renovation. The steps are a hazard, especially for a visually impaired child.

Courtney Cottage, shabby not charming

Courtney Cottage, Estes Park Stay: August 2021 Review The 2-star rating is for being pet friendly and location. We considered a third star for cost, but when the fees are added to the per night rate, the return on investment takes a nosedive! It would have been better to sacrifice location. The description and pictures in the on-line posting depict a charming old cottage that could be considered shabby chic. SHABBY and TACKY are the only words to describe this property. The house is in desperate need of some basic upkeep. Here are some examples: ‱ Carpeting is old, worn and in need of replacement as it is starting to buckle in places. ‱ Doors on the bathroom vanity are loose and don’t close properly. The vanity ought to be replaced. ‱ The toilet ran constantly because the flapper didn’t reseal correctly after flushing. So, the handle had to be positioned just right or the tank lid removed, and the flapper positioned by hand. ‱ The shower curtain liner was about 6-8 inches too long, so the bottom end of it fell well into the tub. This posed a risk of slipping, and it was disgusting to shower with a liner that looked and smelled moldy. ‱ The window shades in one bedroom didn’t work. So, the shades hung down and overlapped on to the floor. ‱ The big picture window in the dining area is dirty and cloudy. After trying to clean it, we decided the glass was just too old to be cleaned. ‱ The kitchen was over stocked with dishes but didn’t have adequate drinking or wine glasses. Plus, when we bought groceries, there was no cupboard space to put anything away. The table in the kitchen area ended being the pantry. ‱ Finally, but the list could go on and on, there were no clothes hangers in the closets. Hangers are an inexpensive and obvious item to have.

Location, Location, Location

Loved the location. Hardly used our car at all. Easy access to either of the RMNP entrances. A large elk herd grazed in the front yard with their babies one morning and the large window let us see them up close in safety. Reminder, not all homes have air conditioning in the mountains, because it's not always needed, but the back room with the t.v. could get pretty warm, even with the fans running. Had no problem with any of the noise, the city shuts down pretty early. My neighborhood is noiser.

Perfect location, cute house

The house was very clean and well-equipped. Location was perfect, as we were easily able to walk to town, thus avoiding the need to drive and park. The dishwasher was not hooked up for power or water in/out, and was unusable during our stay. Also, the bunk bed could use a safety rail on both sides - our 9-year-old opted to sleep on the couch because he was afraid of falling off. We enjoyed viewing some elk that decided to graze in the front yard as well as a hummingbird that frequently came to the clothesline.

Great for groups

Great location to center of town. Not the most “updated” amenities but perfect for price. Fit all of our group comfortably and had perfect front table for group meals and game nights. Perfect for a COVID getaway and a way to reconnect with friends
