Looks different than on the picture, like an apartment complex. The room was very small, even though we paid for premium. Tv didn’t work. No one told us anything at the counter, they just handed us the keys. Would not stay again for that price.

This was a great little motel with great location. Walkable to Stanley hotel, Safeway grocery store, downtown and a few restaurants for breakfast (trust me). Staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous. Note that housekeeping is on request. The lodge was very clean too except for a few spiders in the room but It was indeed a very clean motel. Good amenities too, nice little pond where Elks were bathing, fire pit, kids play area. Fantastic. It was great to see so many elks on the property but they did poop all over so you have to watch out for that. Breakfast was included but it would have been better if they didn’t. Packaged stuff (eggs bread crustables). We didn’t even bother going for it. Just bought stuff from Safeway or eat at a nearby restaurant. Price was super reasonable. One of the best places and location in Estes park.

Our room was very cute and the bed was so comfortable!!! It was nice to drink our coffee on the little deck of our room and see the mountains!! A couple of times we got to see the Elk at the lodge also!! I definitely recommend!!!

We had a great experience! The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable and the younger girl behind the desk was so sweet! Great continental breakfast, beds were comfortable, pillows were comfy and the grill area was fantastic! Loved seeing the Elk in the evenings :-)

Not high end but still worth the stay.

The room was nice, The only complaint would be the power button on tv did not work. we were able to turn it on by button on tv. Housekeeping did not understand english as there was no do not disturb sign and we never need housekeeping when we stay more then 1 night. The breakfast is cerial, yogurt, toast. No warm food. It was not a bad stay. If you are used to everything high end this is not the place, however if you are in need of a quick place to stay it was nice. It was walking distance to the Visitor Center and we always felt safe. I would stay again.

Discovery needs to be rediscovered

The room was clean and spacious however the resort looks tired and dated. It lacked a restaurant and didn’t have any other facilities, we had to use a pool in a sister hotel a mile up the road. On the plus sign the local wild elks were a bonus

The AC didn't work in one of our rooms. The hotel charged me twice for the full amount two days before check in and charged me five more times, tying up thousands of dollars in my account while on vacation with my family. It took 8 days to get it resolved. We were on our way back home before I got the last refund. Terrible communication. The front desk lady on the weekend told me that it wasn't her problem they had charged my card 5 too many times and wasn't helpful whatsoever. I requested a call back from the manager on several calls and never received one. I will not be staying there again or recommending them to anyone else!

Not the best experience

We were disappointed that a large "organized" youth group was booked all around us in the same building during the second night of our stay. This involved a loud meeting next door during the late evening and a 4am departure with a herd leaving with lots of noise. Would strongly recommend that you put not place us right in the middle of a large noisy group.
