It was rather overpriced for the secluded cabin vibe that was advertised. The air conditioner embedded in the wall was super loud and rattly making it impossible to find both comfort and peace at the same time. We had brought a bunch of food expecting to be able to cook something special together, but didn't realize the kitchen was completely inadequate with appliances like a cooktop one might expect in an otherwise self-sufficient cabin like we've enjoyed renting before. Once in town, I noticed there were similarly priced cabins with a truly functioning kitchen that I wish we would have shopped around for first. So we just had to spend a bunch of money on going out to eat thereby greatly increasing the cost of our weekend getaway and adding a bunch of unnecessary stress. I think the description should be clearer about the minimal appliances/dishes etc. Also the Jacuzzi tub being the main thing we were looking for in a cabin was quite cramped and literally in the kitchen, which was awkward. That placement was not clear from the pictures. The single switch for the bathroom light/exhaust fan was super obnoxious. And lastly, we found several dead bugs (cockroaches and beetles) in various areas.
Overall good experience. We think my wife may have got some kind of infection from the jacuzzi tub. Came back home after the stay and she had a huge spot on her hip after being in there. Unsure if that's the exact reason but it's the only thing we can think of. Other than that, good location, good venues around.
Great little spot if youâre wanting to skip the motel/hotel. Communication was great. Clean. Bathroom stocked with extra towels.
Plenty of pillows blankets.
Reserved parking was great!
Only thing was there was no fan in the bathroom.
This cabin was very clean, private and had everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Located in Eureka Springs and in walking distance of most of the town. We really enjoyed being in the woods and experiencing nature on the back deck!
