Had an amazing time. Hosts were amazing . It was very relaxing . They had everything that was needed except our food and blankets. This is an experience I would recommend to everyone. Clean bathhouse and property . Loved every minute. It was more glamping than camping running water and electric. They even had a fan and cute little electric fireplace heater in the tents.
The area was well kept. The owners gave helpful info about activities and amenities. She even shared fresh tomatoes from her garden! Great access to Kings river from the campsite. Overall, very happy to stay here and the kiddos enjoyed the river and the tree swing.
The owners were wonderful, very kind and helpful. The property was in a wonderful, quiet location right by the clear Kingâs river. There is a kayak/canoe rental right up the road to camping area. Our family had a splendid time!
What a neat little spot to camp and kings river a stones throw away. We stayed 3 nights and wish we had stayed even longer, so much to do⊠or not do. No Wi-Fi or cell signal but thatâs part of the beauty in this day of age.
The fiancee and I took our pups for a short two night stay. There are three campsites available, and the host's house is maybe 100 yards away. The tent itself was very roomy and had a fan and heater available. There is also a fire pit and chairs, picnic table, and sink with running water. You'll find tiki torches and outdoor lighting, as well. The whole space was really inviting. The river is really close and absolutely beautiful. There are hammocks and tables nearby, too.
And of course our hosts were very friendly and accommodating! We would definitely recommend.
Just fabulous! Peaceful, quiet, best nights sleep of the whole road trip. Shower was warm (and it was chilly when we visited) and hostess was great. I only wish this was closer to home.
We had a great time here. The tent is incredible. I want one. The set up made camping comfortable especially for people that donât camp much. Sink and kitchen area was helpful. The river was perfect spot for lounging in the water. The owners were friendly and great. Pet friendly as well. I highly suggest staying here if you want to have a more relaxing camping experience. Close to Eureka Springs also. We came during the week to avoid crowds which worked out perfect.
HOT, HOT, HOT!!! Never again camping in July Camp area was good! Camp shower was cold water which was nice except morning when cold water is not good!! Unless you like cold water over you when trying to wash yourself?!! Well water is COLD !Swimming area needs to have better access. Possibly stairs or just some of the brush taken out so you could get down bank to water easily would be helpful. It was very small spot to get into River or just put lawn chairs, etcâŠ. Right now swimming is not good unless like luke warm water? We stayed in creek all day because of heat!! Fire pit grill means burning wood to cook. Not good idea in July. My bad!! Also, I do not do âport a pottyâs â which is the toilet provided!! Smell was awful and going to the bathroom was I know reviews have been great but I am being totally upfront so will know what to expect!! Flies are thick so take fly spray and bring extra wood or have to buy it from host. They give you first night of wood. Cooking takes more wood . The place is in gorgeous location. It has two other tents in close proximity. We were there two nights and one of the tents was occupied, otherwise we had peace & quiet which was nice!! Bring utensils . Bring extra toilet paper in case they are out. Bring towels, shampoo, and I would strongly recommend extra fan. One in tent but not enough. Cots are hard so bring extra bedding to soften. Blowup mattress needs King sheets and I would take extra chairs for you to sit on outside. Bring ant spray. We would recommend camping just in Fall or Spring!!! We had family emergency and had to leave day early. Did notify the Host.
Very quiet little great away to have family friendly river experience. Great value for the price. All different ages enjoyed this! The hosts were very nice. Listing doesnât do it justice itâs so pretty, and there were more amenities available than listed.
My family had the most amazing experience staying at the Roseâs property. The details that were put into making the stay special were a pleasant surprise. There was wood for the fire and access to the river. It was everything we wanted and more. Everything was really clean and Carmen was very easy to communicate with and checked in to make sure we were doing well. We will definitely be going back and I would recommend this property to everyone I know.
The tent was high quality made of thick canvas. I was really impressed with how clean it was inside - not a single bit of dirt on the floor. It rained one night but none ever made it inside. We were concerned about bugs and mosquitos but ended up being a non-issue since the tent zips up nice and tight. The fan in the tent was great. Aside from a couple of flies there were no bugs in the tent, and remained bug-free throughout the stay. There were surprisingly few mosquitos overall even outside.
The outdoor kitchen area has electricity along with running water with a sink and soap. Great for washing dishes and hands, though I would not drink it personally. Provided are paper towels, coffee maker with filters, dish drying rack, a few dishes and cutting board, and fire starter sticks. This is all housed under a canopy with zip up sides. There are two trash cans, one for recycle. Be mindful of trashing any food or smelly stuff as there are racoons and other critters that will try to get in there at night. If you have any stored food probably best to keep in your car.
The river access is very short walk (50-100ft) from our tent. There is a gravel beach area perfect for folding chairs and a cooler. The river itself is shallow in this area. My 6ft self had no problem walking all the way across. Deepest probably 4 ft or so. LOTS of fish and wildlife. Very clean river. Our 3 year old with floaties loved it. The current was minimal, but still there, so be careful with small children. Wake up early one morning and get down there to see the sun rise over the east hill - very special!
The hosts provided two crates of seasoned firewood and fire starters. We cooked both nights on the fire pit grill. They said they could provide more if requested but we had no need.
Thank your Carmen and Farar!
We had a great time and the host had thought of everything (fire wood, indoor/outdoor seating, hammocks...) to make us feel at home. We will definitely be back.
The property was beautiful and it was right on access to a beautiful river. We will definitely be staying again and telling all of friends about this wonderful location!
My husband and I stayed in this tent for a 3 day weekend and we loved it. It was clean, in a great location and such a fun experience. There is NO cell phone service, so make sure to download your favorite Spotify playlist before you get there and let your family know they wonât be able to get ahold of you while youâre there.đ
We did bring our dog and there were lots of gunshots near us and it made her very nervous. The gunshots did stop when the sun went down though.
Other than that, it was the perfect weekend getaway.
