This motel is situated quite a ways from the highway, so it is both quiet and safe. It has old decor and minimal amenities, but I found it to be adequate and got a great deal on the price.

Clean, affordable motel with friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunate lack of electrical outlets and the coffee maker didn't work. Otherwise a good place for a short stay.

Our whole experience was an excellent one. Michael the young man that checked us in gave me outstanding service. He explained everything clearly and the only question i had to ask was in regard to checking out. The room was very clean and comfortable. We have stayed in Evanston three other times at different hotels and all them were bad experiences. If ever we are in Evanston again we will be staying at Affordable Inn and not just because of the financial benefits.

Definitely dates but the rooms were clean, warm, and it was affordable (lol). The deadbolt on our door didn’t work so we weren’t able to lock ourselves in for the night but other than that no issues.
