A little difficult to find but once there itâs very tranquil. Itâs a working farm experience with animals to see.
The dining experience is unique and very enjoyable.
Without knowing ahead of time, we were very happy to have been able to stay at this amazing place. All was excellent and this from our room, to the grounds and the breakfast. All fantastic.
Great property. Very quiet and newly renovated. Great place to get away from the busy life. Enjoy the calm of the interior of the country for a few days.
We only stayed one night. Our suite was simple but very clean and comfortable. We ate dinner at the restaurant on site and had an incredible meal. The property is well maintained and captures the charm of small farm.
Great little Quinta outside Evora, within a lovely small holding type compound. We found it easy to find, and the studio we stayed in had nice modern fittings, and was very clean. The breakfast could be a little better, but this was just a small gripe during a lovely stay. We would stay again!
Its a beautiful property and our studio was sooo pretty, spacious and the bed was oh so comfortable!
Staff very friendly and breakfast was good with an amazing freshly brewed coffee!
This Place is FANTASTIC! Room super clean and comfortable. The staff is great! The restaurant serves breakfast and dinner. The chef is called Ricardo and made an exquisite Alentejano dish. To die for!!!!
Very unique experience - beautiful rustic setting with many farm animals on property and as it is a converted estate, has a lot of character. The restaurant was fabulous - personal touch by the manager and cook Ricardo who took the time to make it a true gastronomic experience. Everything cooked in wood burning oven, most everything served is locally sourced. Also fabulous breakfast.
Charming Quinta outside Ăvora with perfect hosts Daniela and Ricardo. Very charming place and property is beautiful. Treat yourself to a walk to visit the sheep, goats, donkeys, pigs, birds. Best treat though is special meal prepared in wood oven by Ricardo. You have to book that dinner ahead of arrival directly with the Quinta. Very worth it!!
All employees were great during our stay end October.
We enjoyed our stay at the Quinta do Louredo, the room was clean and spacious. Our son loved the dogs that roam around the hotels outside areas. For us, what made our trip was our evening meal onsite. The chef was BRILLIANT! The food served is locally sourced and you have a limited choice but that didn't stop the chef considering what would work best for us with our 5 year old offering us advice and talking us through how everything was cooked. The wine suggestions to compliment our meal was perfect. One of the best meals we've had in a really long time and definitely made our trip. Thank you!
We loved this place. We are a family of 4, 2 kids age 9 &13. This was our first Farm stay, we stayed for 1 week. We love animals and this was just perfect. Spending the day by the pool and walking around the Farm was just the break we all needed. The kids loved the 3 dogs running around the farm, friendly and playfull. And you have to eat at the restaurant, the food is made with so much love. For us it is the people we meet that make our holidays special, this place was run by the loveliest of people, always happy to help. And the Chef Ricardo is the kind of person you want to meet every single day, a great chef but more importantly for us he is an absolutely fantastic person.
Worst stay of 36 days in Portugal..
Room so small was a joke ...no coffee impolite ckeck in. Shower was ok. Breakfast was in a seperate building ....staffed by 1 person...coffee was instant coffee ....staff were non existant. Property was ok for kids i guess. Can't recommend.
We only had one night at this little gem of a property. Very unique farm stay with a lovely farmhouse kitchen where the friendly chef makes a few specialty items each night and serves them as if you were in his home. The breakfast was good as well, fresh scrambled eggs, breads, juice, coffee, yogurt etc.
the only difficulty we had was arriving in the evening and the driveway gate was closed and we werenât given a passcode. Fortunately another guest pulled up behind us and put the code in to open the gate. We also didnât know where reception was and in the dark werenât sure where to go until we saw other people entering a building.
Wandering around the farm in the morning and seeing the animals was nice, and our unit was clean and comfortable.
