The hotel is lovely and inviting. The guy at the desk, STEVEN, was dismissive and rude. We had requested rooms adjoining or near each other, and also confirmed in writing when we booked as well as with a verbal phone call. He told me we DID NOT request anything and the hotel was completely assigned and sold out. Oh well, it was only for 1 night, so one room on the 1st floor and one on the 3rd was what we were told. Before our friend checked in, they were moved to the 1st floor, mysteriously, but we were grateful. We had NO HOT WATER in our bathroom, but figured it would get better by morning. Our friends were also without hot water and needed to shower. They were relocated to a new room (which was mysteriously available, after Steven had told us the entire hotel was booked solid... hmmmm.) which had hot water. We were give access to a room with hot water, just in case, but chose not to move everything, as we were already settled for the evening, and figured that 8 hours was plenty of time for the hot water to return.
It did not.
We walked down the hall with bedheads, in our pjs, toting all of our shower stuff to shower in the "new room." It was an ADA accessible room with a roll in shower. Lukewarm water, which FLOODED the bathroom, as the drain in the floor was not working.
All in all, the thing that was MOST undesirable was the obvious attitude and untruths told to us by Steven.
