This stay was perfect for a long layover and had just what we needed! The room had nice and cool AC, a cozy clean bed, and shower. The owner was wonderful and offered pickup/drop off from the airport. The food was reasonably priced and very tasty as well! Amazing service. We would definitely stay here again.

The host (and her friendly dog) picked us up at the airport and brought us the short 5 minutes from there to the lodge. This is not a fancy place, but it is clean and spacious and the host is available for whatever you need (e.g., she arranged a taxi and made dinner reservations for us). The King bed is very comfortable, which is important in our book. The WiFi isn't super fast, but is quite usable. We won't be able to comment on the breakfast because the host will be driving us to the airport at 5 am!

We stayed at the lodge for one night on our way back to the United States. We had a wonderful time at the lodge. They picked us up and they also took us for a fee downtown in order to get dinner. The room was very clean, however small. The breakfast was incredible and plentiful. Our flight was not until later in the evening the following day and they were kind enough to allow us to sit in the lounge area so we wouldn’t have to wait at the airport all day. That was an incredibly nice gesture and we really appreciate it. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay near the airport. It is suitable for those who are in transit as it is not close to the downtown area and would need taxis so I would recommend it for travelers who are connecting to an international flight or heading into other parts of Tahiti and need to be near the airport.

The owner of the lodge is the most amazing person we’ve ever met in Haiti. She went above and beyond to make our stay beyond expectation. She woke up at two in the morning to drop us at the airport for free with her beautiful dog. She was always welcoming and made us feel very comfortable and at home thank you for everything. We really appreciate you. Definitely recommend to stay five minutes from the airport.

The description of distances to airport and restaurants said they were a 7 minute walk. Totally false. I walked for over 15 minutes and was barely halfway there. This "lodge" consists of some rooms under their house in a neighborhood high up on a steep hill. I would not have chosen this place had the info been more accurate. The early check in and airport pickup was what made us pick this lodge.

We stayed one night at this lodge, and it was perfect for a stay close to the airport. The staff were very friendly and welcoming — we even received a traditional Tahitian flower necklace on arrival, which was a lovely touch. The decoration had a charming Tahiti style, making the place feel warm and authentic. Airport transfer was well organized and on time. Highly recommended for a convenient and pleasant stay.

Disappointed

The room was clean and had good AC. From the description on the website doesn’t really match what you get. The place is a home where they have built three guest rooms underneath the house and one on the level of the home. They do have a small kitchen area Where you can prepare meals, but as far as any attractions or restaurants near, the lodge isn’t available. If you stay here, you definitely need a car to get around. The staff was helpful and taking us to the airport.

The proximity to the airport, the transport to and from the airport, and the quiet neighborhood was a plus. The breakfast was not cheap $20 US, but was excellent and very convenient. We arrived late into Papeete and this was an excellent choice after a long flight.

The staff was amazing. She picked us up at the airport and dropped us off at our car rental. She was very accommodating. This lodge is small, but well run and quiet. The room was not large, but comfortable. The proximity to the airport made it an excellent choice for us.

Reva and her assistant were proactive, patient, resourceful, helpful. They made my stay at the bungalow pleasant. Breakfast was plentiful, healthy and fresh. The facility is old but well maintained. It’s like being in your own little island hideaway.

Very close to airport, quiet

We had a good one night stay coming in from a cruise. Hotel shuttled us to airport the next morning at 5:30 am, which was too early for their breakfast but we got a good cup of coffee and croissant before breakfast hours. Also got a round trip lift into town 1st night for dinner in Papeete (Great town with a really lively waterfront!). Comfy king bed, quiet neighborhood. Several steps here and there on the property with which we were fine, but keep in mind if you travel w/ heavy bags or don't do steps. Or ask if there is a 1st floor room. A friendly, convenient stay

Super convenient place to stay when waiting for a plane that leaves later at night. The owner of the property was very welcoming and accommodated us even though we showed up on the wrong day! They have a shuttle that can pick you up and drop you off at the airport. I would definitely stay again.
