A short 5-minute walk to Fellows Lake Marina & AMAZING Lakeside Biking/Hiking Trails, 20 minute drive to downtown Springfield or 45 minutes to Branson. Cook up a feast in the chef's kitchen or outdoor grill... shoot billiards in the upstairs library... spoil yourselves in the INDOOR HEATED POOL... take turns on the professional massage table or in the infrared sauna… watch Netflix upstairs in the double soaker tub... relax in adirondak chairs circled around the campfire pit -- This estate is perfect for group gatherings, family reunions, wedding parties, corporate retreats, or a romantic get-away for two!
NOTE: Owners Shannon & Charlie live in a backyard barndominium where they can be as available as needed but completely invisible otherwise. Family Reunion of 20!

I would like to start this review by thanking the owners for such a wonderful line of communication and the property was beautiful! Lets start with the outside. What a wonderful fully fenced in property with a gate option for extra security. Although we didnt open and shut the gate, the option was offerred at the beginning of our stay. The outside offerred tree covered property with many zones for activities. There was a net set up, firepit area, and two tables around the grilling area, also there was plenty of parking.Moving indoors, The main master suite included extra beds and bedding for the whole house, a fireplace, coffee station, massage table, heart shaped tub, full shower,view of the pool area and its own balcony.The second master suite was a large room with a king size bed and two twin beds. The bathroom was spacious and the shower even had a steam function. The balcony included a pool table, beds and seating areas that overlooked the downstairs.Downstairs is two bathrooms, two bedrooms, and plenty of seating and cooking space for our group of 20. The house stayed at a great temperature. The pool is large and is 3ft on each end and 6ft in the middle. It is heated and spacious with towel racks and plenty of pool supplies and towels. Opening the pool was a breeze. Follow the guidelines for the best atmosphere.Overall, 10/10 experience expressed by all five families that stayed and dont forget to visit what the lake has to offer as well.

We cant wait to stay

This is an amazing property, they have thought of everything. Shannon and Charlie are very accomodating and even though they live on the property they are practically invisible, yet very available if needed. The clean up for check out was practical. With 16 people the home was so spacious and roomy we didn't even notice. The kitchen and dining area were so inviting they became the hub of activity only outdone by the incredible pool. Everyone had a great time with zero complaints. The Feathered Nest was worth every penny and our family cant wait to stay again for our next reunion.

Amazing home

We LOVED our stay. This home is beautiful, spacious and immaculate! The pool was so fun with lots of pool toys to choose from. The infrared sauna was amazing, loved it! Wrap around back patio had tons of seating options, we even enjoyed dinner outside one evening. Gas fire pit and a wood burning fire pit with anorak chairs give lots of options. Pool table was a lot of fun too, lots of laughs! We really enjoyed our family vacation, definitely want to return!

Amazing experience!

We had 2 families of 4.There was plenty of space for all.The house,especially the kitchen,was very well equipped.The pool was the highlight for the kids and the sauna was the perfect amenity for the adults.The host was very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Beautiful large home with pool

Beautiful large home perfect for a family gathering. Older home but beautiful and quiet area. Would stay again. Nice large pool was lukewarm (apparently 84 degrees) and lots of areas to hang out in. It was a bit cold outside or we would have used the fire pit. Not many stores close by but there is a medicine cabinet in the home which was nice. Plenty of towels and paper goods. Great location. Would rent again.

Fabulous property!

The property is wonderful- especially for a family. We had 5 adults & three kids. Plenty of room for family time & alone space. My grandkids really enjoyed the pool! Property was clean & well stocked for our meal prep. It’s not too far out of Springfield but far enough got get away from the hubbub. The host was wonderful!

A cozy retreat

Great experience!

Our family reunion was held in this beautiful home. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to hold it. There was plenty of space for everyone to be together or to find a quieter place if being in the crowd was too much. The hosts are easily available if needed but things were set up so well that we didn’t need much! It is a week my entire family will remember fondly! We are thankful for such a great place to stay!

A five star visit. There was only one disappointment- it lists a gym and shows work out equipment. There were none. The men and teens in my group were very disappointed.
