We enjoyed our stay on beautiful Lake Morey. The description of the house and the pictures were very accurate. The property was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The parking is tough, but room for three cars. I would definitely recommend this home and if we are back in the area, we will try to book it again.

Great Location for Lake Morey Event

We were in town for our daughter's wedding at the Lake Morey resort. We stayed the beginning of the week here, with our family prior to moving to the resort for the wedding day and celebrations. It was wonderful! Big enough to accomodate our family, but with three stories and covered porches it was also private to those who want to hang in the lower level or main level or outside. The decor is very nice and modern and furnishings were comfortable. Big TV in the lowest level so we were able to watch Michigan sports while there. Definitely would rent here again!

Beautiful home and location

Great house! Beautiful location and enjoyed sitting on the dock looking at the stars, cooking on the grill while the sun was setting, walking around Lake Morey. Can't wait to come back.

Great House and Location Could use more Furniture

The house is very nice. The location on the Lake is great. However, the Main Floor has an empty feel to it because there is just not enough furniture. There are spaces that are just empty that should have furniture in them. A Couch for 2 and two chairs for such a big space just wasn't enough. It could also use a better set of cooking pots and pans that are not so worn. I'd just bring my own next time. The place was clean and everything functioned as expected. Beds were very comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone.

Spectacular Lake Front Retreat- Perfect for a family getaway

Our stay included a week full of sunshine, cool nights, a free concert at Lake Morey Resort, and the fireworks over the lake. We relaxed, cooked, paddled and kayaked in the lake and thoroughly enjoyed the space, views, serenity, and escape from the business of everyday life. The home has many new renovations, is stocked with everything you need, can accommodate a large family, and offers two full porches where the views in the morning and evening never disappoint. Definitely will return to this gorgeous home!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lakeside home!. The views from the wrap around decks were breathtaking. Enjoyed preparing family meals in the high end kitchen. Very spacious home and very clean. We especially enjoyed sitting together in front of the fireplace on chilly mornings.

Fun on Lake Morey

The house was beautifully furnished with tasteful art work and comfortable furniture. The views were spectacular especially the sunsets. The kitchen was well-equipped (nice sharp knives) with all sorts of cooking equipment. We would have liked some nice stemware for wine glasses. The only down side is the trek up and down the driveway. We would request another railing on the last few stone steps. Parking is really for 3 cars comfortably. Roadside parking saved us. Indoor TV upstairs would be a nice feature. Floors are quite stunning. Hope to return next year. 2023 is behind us and hopefully, the weather also.

Ice Skating Family Vacation

Beautiful property, spotlessly clean and large enough for our large group to spread out. The kitchen was very well equipped with utensils and appliances. You need to bring anything else you need; there isn't salt and pepper, foil, condiments etc. We also wish we had brought hangers. There were a few but with 10 of us there with winter gear we could have used more. The property manager did clear the stairs to the house but we needed to c lear the stairs down to the lake ourselves. He also brought us some sand for the stairs when we asked. He wasn't able to help us with the gas stove on the lower level. It wasn't. working and it was chilly down there. We were only downn there for sleeping though so it wasn't a big deal. It was a great stay in a beautiful location; we got lots of skating in!

Amazing Views

Great location lakeside, Host John is attentive and responds quickly, the property/House is amazing, clean and well kept with plenty of room for all, and the views across the lake from either of the 2 decks is gorgeous and relaxing. Although the dock was being removed as we arrived, we did choose this property partly because of the dock, all in all it really didn't matter. Would definitely book again!

Beautiful family weekend on the lake!

The house has amazing views, including views of loons on the lake strolling by. The home has been beautifully restored and design and function amazing. Special touches by the owners run throughout the home. The covered decks were great to enjoy together and make special memories with our family. The propane fire pit was enjoyed as the evening temps. cooled. Thank you to the owner John, who quickly and thoroughly answered our questions we had prior to arrival and for sharing his property!

A Winter Wonderland Lakeside Retreat

We loved our recent stay at this beautiful lakehouse. Everything was just as pictured. The house is newly constructed, spacious and is equipped with everything you'll need. It was just what we were looking for. The view is spectacular. Check-in was seamless and the owner was very responsive to any questions or issuues. We had a small problem with WIFI and the owner quickly resolved the issuue. We especially enjoyed the ice skating on lake Morey. Just one thing to note is the entrance to the house is very steep and can be hazadous during the winter months. We were fortunate to all have SUVs wiith AWD capabiliities and were able to drive in and out after a snowstorm. We would highly recommend this property and would love to stay again! Thank you for a wonderful stay.
