We stayed at this cabin with our family of two adults and three kids, 4/4/7. The views are incredible from the house, the deck, and especially the hot tub. At night, we had a 360 degree view of the stars, like being in a planetarium, which was a huge highlight.
The main floor of the house was clean and tidy with comfortable sheets and beds. It did "live small," as the loft area is really only for sleeping... it would have felt tight with more people, but was comfortable for us. The kitchen was clean and well stocked.
This is a new rental, and the management company was still working out some kinks. The basement, with the ping pong table, is sold as more livable space but is a very unfinished basement that hadn't been swept/vacuumed. There were no garbage bins provided to put our trash upon checkout. There were no batteries in the remote for the fireplace. We couldn't find the chemicals for the hot tub, which was nerve-wracking because the paperwork is very stern that if anything goes wrong with the hot tub, there is a $600 fee. I received many automated texts from the rental company with the invitation to text back with any questions, but when I did text at check-on on a Friday, I didn't hear back from anyone until Monday morning. No deal breakers, but small inconveniences that took this stay from five stars to four.
Overall, it's in a great location, close to town but still private, and you can't beat those views. I'm sure that they will iron out the bumps with time.
