Lorsque nous avons construit Timber Ridge, nous voulions donner l'impression que nous faisions partie de son environnement extĂ©rieur. Cette maison nouvellement construite a Ă©tĂ© soigneusement planifiĂ©e et amĂ©nagĂ©e avec des caractĂ©ristiques exigeantes. Votre premier moment "wow" sera en entrant, lorsque vous entrerez et ressentirez l'effet d'un mĂ©lange de bois de bon goĂ»t; bois dur et doux, clair et foncĂ©, pour donner l'impression d'ĂȘtre dans un sanctuaire boisĂ© avec des ruisseaux de montagne. SituĂ©e juste sur une crĂȘte le long de la fracture continentale, et surplombant l'une des routes de montagne pittoresques sinueuses de Fairview, cette maison offre un accĂšs facile Ă  la route principale tout en vous apaisant avec un sentiment d'intimitĂ© Ă  vol d'oiseau. The house itself (built by Ron!), the beautiful scenery, and the calm and peaceful energy came together in the most wonderful way. The best part, however, was Candi and Ron! They were kind and attentive hosts. When help was needed, they came right over, everything was all set in preparation (including detailed instructions), and we had lovely encounters with them both. Everything from check in to check out was absolutely perfect! The house was so cute and charming. No cheesy decor or cheap bedding! The sheets were super soft. Comfy, adjustable air bed which was great for my back even with multiple herniated discs and previous back surgery. Extra blankets galore. Even the pillows were awesome! Kitchen well stocked. Hot tub extremely clean and well maintained. We were so impressed and pleased. The location was great as well! Far enough away from the Asheville hustle and bustle to relax peacefully but close enough to jump right into it if desired. Great privacy as well! Hostess, Candice, is a GEM and stayed in close contact but allowed us to enjoy peacefully! We will most definitely be back! Thank you!!

This was the perfect location for a long weekend getaway to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Everything was clean, was well stocked with everything you need to cook a dinner, bed was comfortable and the hot tub was a great addition! Candice was great to work with, provided all the information we needed ahead of time and even called to make sure there were no problems with the code to get in. They even left a small gift for my wife! We will be back again, and we highly recommend this property!

Timber Ridge was the most welcoming place we have stayed at. The cabin was exceptionally clean and the kitchen well equipped. We enjoyed sitting on the porch by the fire pit in the evening reading and listening to the night sounds. It is a very quiet, private, and peaceful place. The bed was comfy and the bathroom supplied with all the essentials, including plenty of towels.We have stayed in many vacation rentals and have never had the host reach out to us in the way Candi and Ron did. It was evident that they wanted to make our stay special. We will definitely book with them again when we are in the Asheville area and highly recommend Timber Ridge to anyone who wants to visit the area.

The Great Escape

I can not say enough good things about this property . When I was looking for a place my intention was something private and secluded! This was exactly what I was looking for! The owners have everything you need for your stay! Kitchen is well stocked and everything was very clean! This is my new favorite place and I will be back! This house is a hidden gem! This was I believe our 3rd stay at Timber Ridge and as per the norm, Candi and Ronnie were excellent hosts. Before our visit Candi reached out to ask what type of creamer we would like and to our delight it was waiting for us in the fridge. The house is spotless and oh so comfy cozy. If you are looking to get away from it all, this is the place!!

I can"t say enough about this wonderful home-and that is what it feels like-a HOME! The hosts-Ron and Candi have thought of everything for their guests! They left us some yummy treats, and coffee creamer.It is a gorgeous cabin and decorated beautifully and you feel treehouse vibes! Outside you are perched above the road and entrance with a covered deck. The front has a fire table and we used every single day. At night they have a system that projects colorful fairy lights onto the trees! Magical! The side covered deck has the hot tub and the gas grill is located off that side as well.The driveway has level parking but it is a steep-ish walk from there to the cabin. Don't let that deter you from booking this lovely spot!Exceptionally clean!!! The woods used inside vary between dark & light so that the interior is cozy not dark. Everything you need is provided. The kitchen is modern and the hosts have thoughtfully left items needed: spices, paper products, foil, cookware, utensils, plates, coffee maker. Just bring your groceries!There are 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths & a lovely loft space. There are 2 full baths as well. Another feature is that they have labeled all the light switches so that you know what you are turning on and off. No guess work!There are some road noises during the day-so much has been destroyed and being rebuilt. Take a drive and see what WNC is dealing with-the landslides are hard to imagine. There is much to see and do so come stay & play!

Serene, peaceful stay - LOVED Timber Ridge!

Our experience at Timber Ridge was more than we could've hoped for! The pictures don't do the cabin justice. It was a perfect getaway in the woods that is close enough to town for a quick run to the store or dinner and near so many beautiful hiking spots. We absolutely loved how serene and private the raised porch was - perfect place for coffee each morning. The cabin with stocked with all of the basics we needed. Candice was incredibly communicative and helpful. She provided suggestions for food, sights, and things to do and was so considerate when reaching out. Best experience I've had with a rental! If you're looking for a peaceful getaway that is close to Asheville, I can't recommend this cabin enough. You won't regret it!

Perfect Getaway

We had the best visit! The house was so clean and well stocked. Check in was a breeze and Candice and Ron were wonderful hosts! There was a note, flowers and chocolates awaiting us upon arrival. Location was perfect to easily get to Chimney Rock / Lake Lure, Ashville and Black Mountain. We watched the beautiful sunsets every night from the porch and hot tub, I would highly recommend staying here for a weekend getaway!

Hostess with the Mostest!

Although my stay wasn't long, the hosts provided us with a top-notch experience in their beautiful cabin home! They were very accommodating down to the smallest details. The cabin is beautiful, especially if you want to chill, but also close to plenty of things to do. I will definitely be back!

Nice cabin in the mountains

Candice and Captain Ron were great. The cabin was beautiful and clean. Everything was labeled for easy use. The location was perfect for us as we visited both the Biltmore and some local breweries. The fire pit ran out of gas and they immediately replaced the tank even though we didn’t expect it. They checked in to ensure everything was going good. Will definitely be back.
