The heater made a terrible loud noise. You couldn't even hear the TV over it. I got the room warm and then turned the thing off. It was cold out so i had to repat this process over and over.
We had a reservation. When we got there, the office was closed, locked and there was a sign on the door that said that all the rooms had been taken and there was no vacancy. They sold our reservation to someone else, and didn't even let us know! That is unacceptable.
This room satisfied what we needed: a place to crash. But that was it. This is an aging property with aging furniture and tiny rooms. The room was clean, the beds were hard, the water pressure was weak. Our double bed room only had 2 towels so I went to get some additional towels at 10:05 pm and the office was closed with no one answering the bell. (Was happy to see bug proof covers on the mattresses.)
We were traveling with our asst.dogs, and couldn't stay there even though I put on our reservation that we had 3 asst.dogs, no pets allowed, it would have been nice to i from me before hand had to sleep in our truck that night
I was unable to stay at my requested hotel because Hotels.com overbooked my reservation. Despite a lengthy conversation, your reservation center was unable to find an alternate hotel within 50 miles. I ended up finding a room on my own that was over 300 miles away. I made this reservation for 10/13/23 well in advance so I would have a room to stay in for the annular solar eclipse on 10/14/23
The room was dated yet clean. The price was good. I would have given it a better rating except for the lack of coffee maker in the room and the giant bug in the bathroom in the morning.
It was clean but needs serious upgrades. Carpet, bedspreads, furniture outdated. Toilet seat very warn. Exterior and interior remodels needed. Not inviting.
