Because Tenaya Lodge is a rural location guests should call the hotel if they need additional directions or information on how to get to the hotel. During winter months, chains may be necessary, even for four-wheel-drive vehicles.

Bears inhabit this area. Do not leave food or beverages (including water) in vehicles and heed all other warnings issued by the lodge.

Guests driving to the property should be aware of seasonal road closures. Hwy 120 (Tioga Pass) closes October through late June, restricting east-to-west travel across the park. Yosemite's eastern gate and Tuolumne Meadows are not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. Guests are advised to check local weather and road conditions/closures with the California Department of Transportation before travel.

The property is very clean , well kept. Staff for the most part are very accommodating. The one negative about the property is parking. Not sure if it is the time of year, but I had hard time parking in the evening waiting for 10-15 minutes. when this was brought up to the receptionist, they made it sound that it was my problem that they are full capacity.

Stunning lodge in a convenient location to Yosemite. We drove out one night for cheaper options but opted to pay the premium price of this location to save time on our last night. Dinner was pretty good at the on site bar and grill, and we felt the room was very clean and comfortable. Staff was excellent and responded well by text. Left an item behind and texted to come retrieve it. Manager got it and held it till we returned. Overall excellent and I highly recommend this place! Save yourself the driving out late at night and stay here.

One of the best hotels in the area. Comfortable rooms. Multiple Tesla chargers. Excellent restaurants on premises. However, they are not always open and hard to make reservations even for staying guests. Clearly they need to expand for demand, even off-season.

Wow!! We absolutely loved our stay! Tenaya is just gorgeous and our kids loved all of the amazing activities - the indoor and outdoor pools, game room, archery, rock climbing, pickleball, and especially mountain biking to a waterfall! There’s even horseback riding right next door! We stayed to visit Yosemite but only ended up going to the valley floor one day, since Tenaya was so much fun! The food is also very good and the staff is super friendly and helpful. They respond immediately to text requests and even shuttle you to the cottages whenever you’d like. The cottages are so perfect - quiet, clean and roomy with a hot tub and free laundry! The concierge was also super helpful! We loved the free s’mores and only wish there were more food options, as it’s very remote and they closed the pool bar and BBQ restaurant. Can’t wait to return when there’s snow!!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tenaya Lodge. The food and drinks in the bar were really good and the service was friendly everywhere in the resort. We rented e-bikes from the hotel and that was a lot of fun. The pool and spa were really enjoyable after a day of hiking. The rooms were also very nice, quiet and comfortable. We will definitely be back!
