Flagler Beach House

The house was great, but would like it if it had a working umbrella for the beach (it was broken in the garage) a wagon to pull all of the chairs and umbrella would be helpful. Luckily, we only stayed two nights, but there was very few towels in a house of that size.We stayed in a vacation rental in Jacksonville Beach prior to this rental and they had water bottles in the fridge for when we arrived. That would be a nice touch. When I opened the dishwasher, it smelled really bad.

Beautiful beach house!

Really enjoyed our stay at this beach house- great location near restaurants and fantastic views of the ocean. Only small critique would be to allow some flexibility with earlier check-in time if the beach house is not being occupied the day prior. Otherwise, no complaints and would definitely stay here again.

House is beautiful and overlooks the ocean. Very convenient to any Flagler Beach business and a 30 minute drive to St Augustine right up a scenic A1A route.

This property is absolutely lovely. Clean, cute & best sunrise and moonrise views :) only complaint is 10am check outs & 4:00 check ins. We felt cheated of a day. Its really hard to be out that early. We tried to get late check out or early check in but vacasa is not accommodating. We were in town for the Tommy Tant Surf Contest and leaving so early was hard.

Beautiful Home, but...

I have stayed in quite of few VRBO homes, but have never had so many issues. The home is beautiful, nicely decorated and in a nice location, but just a heads up, the road that runs in front of this home is very busy and noisy. When we arrived the internet/tv and thermostat downstairs was not working due to a breaker issue. The person available to repair was off and not available until the next day. There was an ant issue in all of the bathrooms and living room. The house was very clean except some faucets had been overlooked and had black mold type gunk on them. The one thing that really was the most aggravating was the property owner controlling the thermostat while we were away (Google Nest). One day after getting home from the beach the upstairs was 81 and the down stairs set at 77 degrees. It took hours for it to cool off. I know this is not in the owner's control, but the neighbors like to have a good time. They like to party through the night, play loud music. You could hear their conversations/cursing any time during the day/night while out on the balcony. Luckily they were not present during our entire visit, but two days was more than enough. Last but not least, if you are beach goers like we are, be aware that the water pressure is not good, you may be wearing this sand home.

we had a great time. was exceptionally clean and well decorated. only gripe would be the twin beds for the kids were very high off the ground. kind of a concern with a 4 y/o who rolls a lot in the night.

Great rental

Location is great with easy beach access. Great views from the upper deck and easy to walk to coffee and a dozen or more restaurants. Rental was clean and comfortable.

The single dissatisfaction was the tv and lack of local channel access. On our second last day the tv network was disconnected from internet and there was no access to anything. Otherwise everything else was wonderful. Thank you.

Wonderful home away from home.

This property was great overall. Beautiful views , wonderful home and super clean. However if your coming with your family bring toilet paper, we ran out on night 2. Also if you have smaller children under 4 bring a baby gate. I knew there was stairs but since it said family friendly i assumed it was equipped. I was nervous the entire time just because of my 3 year old. There is also a cleaning fee if you dont wash your own beach towels, I would think that if your paying a great amount for cleaning in the fee you pay then that should be included. Its not a great deal but i cant imagine check out being at 10 am and having to rush to wash towels. Other than that the home is wonderful anf clean and spacious with special views. Just be aware of those details in the fine print.

Love sea of blue

The property is nearly perfect. The location is absolutely spectacular. 30seconds to the beach, 2 minutes to great places to eat, 10 minutes to Publix. The place was super clean and nice. Garage is a great bonus. We loved this place. Two things to improve. 1) wish there was a grill 2) enclose the outdoor shower. These a minor.

Beautiful home and perfect placement!!

We loved our week stay at the Sea of Blue! The house was very pretty and clean on the inside. We had no issue with the A/C like other people have mentioned. The house is within walking distance of great restaurants, the winery, shops and super close to a beach access. The beds and furniture are very comfortable. We especially loved the huge dining room table and the glass deck with a beautiful unobstructed view. The only issues we had were the microwave in the kitchen did not work and the tv in the main living room disconnected from the internet and the remote didn’t work with the cable box. We tried reconnecting it to the internet but was not successful so weren’t able to use the tv the last few days we were there. I highly recommend this home for your next vacation. The layout is great for any family! Thanks for a great stay!

Happiness at Sea of Blue

The house was absolutely beautiful along with the views of the ocean. It fit our family of four perfectly with room to spare. The rooms are all big with nice furniture, bedding, mattresses, lighting, big closets. The deck is great along with having an outdoor shower. The kitchen had plenty of dishes along with pots and food storage containersfoe leftovers. There's only one pan (pizza) so plan accordingly if you're cooking. Be sure to bring dish soap and a cleaning brush. The living and dining space were terrific, plenty comfortable and relaxing. We noticed there wasn't a blender or a fan so we contacted the property management team ans they promptly had both sent over from Target for us. This was completely unexpected and incredibly above and beyond. We loved the proximity to restaurants, shops, and of course the beach. It's a great town without the crowds and large complexes. We also enjoyed the museum in Flagler and looking at crabs on the beach at night. Lots of great places to eat and Target and Publix are less than 20 minutes away. We were just and hour from Orlando do a day trip to Universal worked perfectly for us. We would highly recommend Sea of Blue and Teeming VR. We hope to come back.

We loved the property. The pictures show it exactly how it is. It’s gorgeous. 2 minute walk to the beach. The patio is to die for. We had some hiccups with the management company and the property that we hope they respond to us. But otherwise, we would stay again. The construction next door was never heard at all. We hope to stay at this exact house next year!

Practically perfect

The house is beautiful, the location is good as it gets for an oceanfront house in Flagler Beach, and the listing describes the property perfectly. Several great restaurants were located within walking distance, and beach access was a 5-minute walk to the public dune cross-over. The upstairs balcony was spacious, and the glass railing provided unobstructed views of the ocean. We enjoyed watching both foot and vehicle traffic on A1A and spent one afternoon on the balcony watching dolphins feed after a rainstorm. Inside, the main living space is an open concept, with a large dining table that brought our family together in the evenings. The kitchen was modern, spacious, and well-stocked for a rental house. Some minor issues, however, made the stay less and perfect for us. First of all, the air conditioning either needs maintenance or is undersized for the property. There was a rule that the thermostats couldn't be turned below 73 degrees. The reason stated on the check-in sheet was to prevent damage to the units (I suspect it was really to save on the electric bill). According to the check-in sheet, air conditioning was never designed to cool more than 20 degrees than the outside temperature. Even though the average high was 88 during the week, the house stayed stuffy during the day, and without the ceiling fans in the bedrooms, sleeping would have been uncomfortable. The downstairs never got cooler than 75 degrees the entire week. I didn't bother texting the management company because I didn't want to go through the hassle of dealing with an HVAC repair, or what I figured was the more likely scenario of being told it was in Florida in July, and everything was working fine. The second issue was the lack of water pressure in the showers. The big wonderful showers barely had a drizzle of spray, especially in the master. It was barely enough to wash off any lingering sand or salt from the beach. These issues may seem petty, but disappointing in a house that's only two years old. We would happily stay here again, especially if these issues were corrected.

Beautiful views, convenient beach access, clean property!

We were very happy with our stay at this property. The view of the ocean was lovely, and we enjoyed sitting on the porch and listening to the waves. The property was clean and comfortable for our family. The access to the beach is extremely convenient, and there were chairs, beach towels, and even some toys for the kids left from previous guests. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Absolutely beautiful

Sea of blue is a beautiful house right in Flagler Beach. The pictures are spot on, everything in the house was as expected. We were able to walk to restaurants and the view of the ocean was amazing. I am already thinking of when I can stay here again. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
