We loved the ocean view of the beach and how it was within walking distance from the hotel. The free breakfast had plenty of delicious food to choose from! The hotel is nice and clean with modern fixtures. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in.

Great stay, when checking out I asked for a print out of my charges, desk clerk said I would have to get that from Expedia, I should have been able to get a print out since all the charges at the Compass were on my credit card.

Flagler Beach Margaritaville

The Compass Margaritaville hotel in Flagler Beach is a great location for a vacation or weekend getaway. The hotel is one block from the ocean and you can see the ocean form the front lobby. There is a restaurant and bar on site including a roof top bar with great ocean views. We enjoyed the morning breakfast buffet. The rooms are modern, clean and nicely decorated. The beach, restaurants and shops are within walking distance from the hotel. The hotel also has a meeting room for business meetings, small conference or event.The pool area is private and has many chirs and lounges.

Great new Flagler hotel!

Lovely new hotel in one of my favorite places. The room was lovely, large and probably one of the quietest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The breakfast was great. Wonderful selections , something for everyone. Plentiful too. The pool was delightful and the food, drinks and service were great there too. The upstairs rooftop bar however, needs some help. We tried to eat dinner there the first night and it didn’t go very well. We were seated at a dirty table. The server came by to pick up the check from the previous diners, he had empty hands and didn’t clear anything. Then he brought menus, and set them in the dirty table! Dude, he put my menu on top of a pile of wet soggy tortilla chips. Gross. He did pick up a few of the dirty dishes but not all of them. Then he left, and after 20 minutes or so of not having a clean table or even being offered a drink, we got up and walked out. There are dozens of great restaurants within walking distance so we went to our favorite place: Tortugas. Always great food and service there for the 8 years we’ve been going there. The rooftop Chill Bar was okay for our final nightcap about 30 minutes before they close because most everyone was gone and we could get a seat at the bar. The bartenders were great. The servers waiting tables need some serious etiquette training. I will say our one bad experience at the Chill bar would not deter me from staying here again because the rest of our stay and experience was just delightful.
