Property was large, safe, clean and liked there was 24 hour attendant but for the price not sure would choose again. Requested the water in shower to be looked at twice as it was very very cold (visited in November) and was never fixed so did not have warm shower entire stay. Also the room safe malfunctioned and when tried to get passports out the night before our morning flight could not. Eventually manager on-site was able to find a key to manually open as the batteries in the safe were dead so could not reset code. Was frustrating at midnight to deal with. Room was pretty big but would be nice to have at least one full length mirror as only mirror in entire room was the one above bathroom sink.

Staff very nice and good location. Room quite small but otherwise pleasant. The bathroom was very poor, the shower repeatedly flooded into the main room and was lukewarm. Though the staff were helpful when we raised this to them they apologised and were resigned, and idicated it is a repeated problem. If staying again i would opt for another hotel at the same price point.

I had a lovely time in Florence and my stay in Hotel Galileo contributed to that. It was my first time in the city and the location of the hotel was spot on easily walkable from the train station and to the tram to the airport. It is a short walk from the landmarks and is never too far from good restaurants. Staff were very helpful, always pleasant!

This was a great hotel, I would stay here again. The room was clean, the staff was helpful and kind and the location was great! They let us store our luggage and placed it in our room when it was ready. It’s about a 7 minute walk from train station. The rooms were incredibly spacious. If I could give more stars, I would!

Room was clean however, the ac was not in. I spoke with the manager in the early hours of the evening and told him that the room was warm and to please cool it down. He said he would do that. In the middle of the night, it was so hot that I once again went downstairs to request cooling. However, nobody was at the front desk so it was not a great night. I could’ve opened the windows, but then it was too noisy. So I would give them a once again went downstairs to request cooling. However, nobody was at the front desk so it was not a great night. This was our first trip to Italy, and this was the first hotel we stayed in during our journey. It’s just a short walk from the train station and is close to so many great sites and restaurants. It was easy to navigate the city from here. The room was clean and charming and the breakfast was perfect!

This hotel was nice for the short time we stayed. The rooms were pretty basic but clean. It was right in the center of town so it was a quick walk down the Main Street from the tram/train station. It was also a short distance away from the main tourist area. They offered a nice continental breakfast for $10 a person per day. Definitely suitable for quick breakfast before heading out on an excursion. The staff was very friendly and attentive and wanted to help with anything you may need. Only thing I would say is since the rooms are very basic there aren’t any hooks or shelves in the bathroom to place towels or toiletries, just the little space around the sink and hanging the towel on the shower curtain rod. No pictures or paintings either in the room, which isn’t really that big a deal. All in all a nice, comfortable stay for our 3 night getaway to Florence.

The hotel is located in a safe quiet neighborhood. 15 min walk to the metro.buses stop in front of hotel.ok buffet breakfast. good restaurant inside hotel.there are good small restaurants around the hotel.the only thing i did not like was the staff not very comunicable like good moning ,hey there is going to be a train strike tomorrow. you know things like would benefit the guest.
