Everything is excellent. Lorenzo at the reception is a blessing. He exceeds expectations in support and kindness. All the staff do their best to help you, the cleaning lady and the kitchen man, also the reception man at night. The location is amazing. You can walk to the train station and at night you enjoy the dumo after the crowds. The terrace has an amazing view.

The view from the top floor is amazing. Great selection of breakfast. The location is unbelievable, so central to everything. The only draw back is the shower. It is very slow and old due to the age of the building.

Overall great place to stay

Pros: 1- extremely great and accessible location 2- great and friendly staff, great manager (i made a mistake in my booking and my whole trip shifted one day, they changed my reservation with no cost which happens rarely in Italy) 3- great breakfast 4- reasonable price for what you get Cons: 1- although they clean the room everyday but still feels very old and messy. It was totally fine for us since hotel is just a place to sleep for us and we dont want to pay too much for hotel. But if you prefer more luxurious places then pick another place 2- the bed was not very comfortable for us, i prefer more firm mattress but this one was very soft and I got back pain

Great location in a beautiful city

This hotel is on the fourth floor of a building with another hotel. When entering the elevator, you will press and hold number four until the door closes, and the elevator begins to move. Be sure to look at the check-in hours as there is not someone at the desk 24 hours a day. The hotel was in a fantastic location near the Duomo, shopping and not far from the river, museums, and all of the sites to see in Florence. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Be sure you are able to check in during their check-in hours. The beds were OK, relative to comfort. Keep in mind hotels in Europe do not have conditioner or washcloths so come prepared. This is a great hotel for the price. We would stay here again. They have a rooftop bar overlooking the Duomo, which is amazing!

The location was perfect staff very nice but air conditioning poor and on 3 very hot days did not cool the room ,did not sleep well , hotel is on the 4 th floor , the elevator only worked if it was on the floor you were on ,other wise you had to climb 92 steps to get to hotel . So unless someone came down to the first floor , you were hiking up 4 flights or until you came across were it was. Staff kept saying it just broke but we were there 3 days it never changed , complained about the ac and was told they would check it out but again that was never fixed , building is old beds a little rough to sleep in . But roof top bar was a great view . They got 1 star because the staff were very nice and the location was great ,

Incredible location with wonderful views. Room had great views and property has terrace and dining area overlooking the cathedral and city. Everything is within walking distance. Staff were warm, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was lovely, everything you could want. Bed spacious and comfortable. Loved everything here.
