Great location and view.

We had a nice quiet stay. The fenced in back yard was perfect for our dog and he spent most of the day relaxing in the sun!
The porch was sunny in the relaxing chairs where we watched the waves.

Cozy oceanfront home on great beach

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very clean, comfortable furniture, and had most of what we needed in the kitchen (Fred Meyer is minutes away for any needs). Wonderful views of the waves, easy beach access down a few stairs and a short path through the delightful dunes.Additional lighting in the kitchen would help brighten the house up at night, and replacing bulbs in non-working lights. A guidebook about the property would also be useful for guests!

Perfect beach cabin!!

I had picked this place when I found it so close to beach and would accept my two English Bulldogs. From the photos the beach looks far away but surprised to find it only a very short hike away from the cabin. Well established trail down to beach....the cabin was spotless , very clean and plenty of beds and additional blankets and sheets to use.. there is a washer and dryer also. The cabin layout was perfect for comfort and privacy. I could not have asked for a better place to stay for time at the beach with family!

Comfort and beauty

We found the house wonderfully furnished and supplied. It has a fenced yard and an upper enclosed deck excellent for our dog. The beach view and sounds are beautiful and the beach is easy to access and offers great walks.

Not as advertised

The location of this property was great. However, there were some issues with the accommodations and management that impacted our stay. While advertised as a four bedroom, two bathroom home, one bed lacked sheets and only one toilet was functional. The kitchen had limited cleaning supplies, with just one used sponge left in the sink. Unfortunately, our attempts to contact the host about these issues went unanswered throughout our stay. The home itself appeared to need some maintenance and upkeep. Future guests may want to confirm amenities and responsiveness with the host before booking. With some improvements to the property condition and guest communication, this rental could be an excellent option given its prime location, but as it is, we would not stay there again and cannot recommend.

Enjoyable stay

Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Stunning view of beach and ocean. Caution for those who have problems with stairs: the house is two short flights up from the driveway, but the stairs are solid and the hand railings are helpful; the stairway from the main floor to the the second floor can be challenging for someone who has temperamental knees or issues with balance.

Perfect vacation location!

Our family enjoyed this perfect little home that was just steps away from the beach. It was peaceful and the views stunning. It was great for adults and kiddos. The kitchen was well stocked, as were the board games. Our critique was the beds are a little lumpy and the pillows were a bit flat. All in all, a GREAT vacation on the Oregon Coast!

Florence Vacation House Pacific Lookout

This was a *fantastic* house to stay in. Arriving at this house, we were so impressed by how outstandingly clean it was (best ever, of all the many vacation rentals we have stayed at). It was welcoming, too; lamps were turned on; the television had a “fireplace” setting. Huge thanks to the person/people who cleaned this house! Supplies: things we needed were there. Kitchen and bathrooms were well supplied, the beds and other furniture comfortable and sturdy. The kitchen table was a great size for playing our big board games! There was a hose for rinsing off our dogs after an ocean dip; this was much needed. Things that will make this house even better: 1.) Laundry: the towels have been laundered in fabric softener so many times that they are not absorbent whatsoever. They also have an unpleasant, cloying floral scent. Please, please switch to fabric softener-free laundry detergent! (It’s better for washing machine longevity as well!) 2.) The tabletop stain comes off onto the dishcloth when it is wiped. It might be a good idea to apply a coat of polyurethane or something like that. 3.) The back door storm door gets stuck when closed; it was hard (and a bit scary) to open it to come back into the house; it should be fixed right away (before someone gets stuck). 4.) We’ve seen this recommendation on another review as well: It’s so steep and tricky to descend the steps to the beach. To make it safe, a railing should be installed.
